We are a third done with the 12-week challenge. This is so exciting.:-jumpy

This morning I weighed myself and measured myself. I have dropped 5 ½ pounds and lost two inches from my waist and 1-½ inches from my hips. It is amazing what clean eating and exercising can accomplish. Although after the sniper was caught, I have to admit to some chocolate chip cookies :)P YUMMY) and potato pancakes :)P YUMMY)...but not as many as I would have eaten before the challenge. As I wrote before, I only plan to weigh and measure myself at the end of each four week exercise cycle. That way my progress is more encouraging to me.

My exercise schedule this past week was as follows:

Monday: Christi Taylor Totally Hot Cardio
Tuesday: Rhythmic Step
Wednesday: PS-BBA and the step section of Body Max
Thursday: PS-CST, Intense Moves/Gin Miller
Friday: PS-LA, Tae Bo II 8 minute workout
Saturday: Off
Sunday: Body Max except for step section

Next week I will repeat week One my four-week exercise rotation. I feel that I have been shocking my body in a good way by not allowing it to become acclimated in my usual four-week rotation schedule.

I plan to continue to focus on clean eating. Drinking enough water is one of the hardest things for me.

I looked over the Picture Perfect Weightless book, which Honeybunch suggested. It is an excellent program, which emphasizes making the right food choices by really visualizing what you are eating. It may have worked in my thirties or forties, however now that I have hit fifty I feel that I need to make additional adjustments to maintain my best weight. I feel I need to focus on cutting out artificial sweeteners and other additives and increasing grains, fruit, and veggies. Most of all I need to be mindful of my choices.

Hope everybody has a great week. Keep up the great work. Remember, anybody can begin or resume taking part in this challenge.

Hey Rhonda,

I worked out 5 days last weeking--did the Tank Top Rotation. My eating however....let's just say it wasn't good.

I'm going to workout later today because I have a lot to do this morning.

I just popped in to let you know I did well workout wise. I'll talk to you later....

Well, my clean eating could've been cleaner. Being TTOTM was rough. I thought I was doing so well, then BAM. Well, I'm back on the horse and will do better this week. I bought a pair of jeans about a month ago that were a bit snug in the booty. I put them on Sunday and they fit perfect! Yeah! (thanks Cathe :))
Here was my workouts:
Monday: Power Hour, walk
Tues: IMAX
Wed: Curcuit Max, walk
Thur: Cardio Kicks
Fri: Power Hour, walk
Sat: MIC
Sund: OFF
Now this weeks goal is to stay away from my kids trick or treat bags!!!! ;-) Have a good one- Susan

Hi, I had a pretty good week. I keep meaning to bring in my schedule to work on Monday but then forget. I did two alternating days of CTX Upper Body (love that tape!), power walked 3 days, then on the weekend did a 4 mile powerwalk, plus my t-tapp challenge every other day. This week (today) I switched to MIS, will power walk or kickbox on alternating days.

I went to the Marine Marathon on sunday with my DD, and got really inspired by the walkers. I am considering challenging myself by doing powerwalking with the goal of entering some races. I'm not sure whether I am being crazy or committed!

Have a good week everyone!

I had the best week since we started this Challenge. I lost 2 lbs, stuck to my WW's points, and worked out for 6 days. YAHOO!!!! Best of luck to everyone next week.

Hi Everyone!

This last week was very good until Saturday when I had pizza, so I gained .2 lbs :'( when I weighed in at WW's today. Workout-wise it went good:

Sun: Power Max - Abs
Mon: CTX Upper Split - Abs
Tues: Step Max
Wed: Leaner Legs
Thurs: Body Max (Step part and Upper body)
Fri: CTX Power Ckt without the Back w/o, Abs

This week I expect to stay within points. I know I have lost weight because this last weekend about 10 people have told me that my face and neck look thinner (Just what I wanted to hear!!):-rollen And I am swimming in most of my pants and fitting nicely into some of my "thinner" jeans. Still have more to go, though!

Drinking enough water is a real challenge for me also, Rhonda. If I drink the right amount, I end up running to the bathroom all day. I have no problem drinking water while working out, but at other times I have to force myself. I need to work on that one.

Good luck to everyone else on the challenge! We're making progress!

Donna M :)

Rhonda great job on your 5 1/2 pd weight loss.I think my body found its set point and doesn't want to budge. My scale doesn't want to get off that 134 mark.Still going to try for that 120.I exercised everyday except sunday. Each day I did at one body part in the weight lifting.Focus, focus must stay focused.
