We are a third done with the 12-week challenge. This is so exciting.:-jumpy
This morning I weighed myself and measured myself. I have dropped 5 ½ pounds and lost two inches from my waist and 1-½ inches from my hips. It is amazing what clean eating and exercising can accomplish. Although after the sniper was caught, I have to admit to some chocolate chip cookies
P YUMMY) and potato pancakes
P YUMMY)...but not as many as I would have eaten before the challenge. As I wrote before, I only plan to weigh and measure myself at the end of each four week exercise cycle. That way my progress is more encouraging to me.
My exercise schedule this past week was as follows:
Monday: Christi Taylor Totally Hot Cardio
Tuesday: Rhythmic Step
Wednesday: PS-BBA and the step section of Body Max
Thursday: PS-CST, Intense Moves/Gin Miller
Friday: PS-LA, Tae Bo II 8 minute workout
Saturday: Off
Sunday: Body Max except for step section
Next week I will repeat week One my four-week exercise rotation. I feel that I have been shocking my body in a good way by not allowing it to become acclimated in my usual four-week rotation schedule.
I plan to continue to focus on clean eating. Drinking enough water is one of the hardest things for me.
I looked over the Picture Perfect Weightless book, which Honeybunch suggested. It is an excellent program, which emphasizes making the right food choices by really visualizing what you are eating. It may have worked in my thirties or forties, however now that I have hit fifty I feel that I need to make additional adjustments to maintain my best weight. I feel I need to focus on cutting out artificial sweeteners and other additives and increasing grains, fruit, and veggies. Most of all I need to be mindful of my choices.
Hope everybody has a great week. Keep up the great work. Remember, anybody can begin or resume taking part in this challenge.
