1 RM TEsting?

Hi everyone,

I was curious about the 1RM testing. I know how to perform it, Im just not sure of when. My fear is that I'll perform the 1RM and I'll wind up exhausting that muscle i.e. my shoulder. As a result, I might reduce my 1RM on other exercises but for the same muscle. So what should I do? Do a mock version of the program? Or just do maybe 1 exercise per muscle group per day? Im not starting STS until August so I have time (Im currently in the middle of P90X Phase 2, then doing Cathe's August Rotation in July). Let me know what you think. Maybe I should base mind 1RM on my P90X weights?
 
You have a long while before you are going to start so you can really scatter them out. I did a few each day and if I was working the same muscle group I just made sure I rested at least 3 min. between each one. For the most part all of my 1RM were right on the money.

Ooh good - I had this exact same question. So, how long has it taken everyone to do all the 1rm tests?
