Good Morning Everyone,
The stranger is back!:) But not feeling so well:-(
I had a good weekend.I had one to many friday night and I was in the mood to do anything,anywhere...to a certain extent of course:) So I woke up Saturday morning with a headache but I wasn't sick.I couldn't shake the headache all day and thought it was strange to be hungover ALL DAY.We went out again Saturday night,but I wasn't in for the long haul and I went back to the hotel at 1.When I woke up on Sunday morning by troat was killing me.I can barely swallow. I felt a little better last night when I took some advil.
I got two workouts in while I was away.I ran twice.Despite how I felt.I am feeling o.k today.My nose is stuffy and my troat still hurts.
So my goal for last weekend was to be 125 lbs.I set that a while back but had a hard time sticking to it.When I weighed on Monday,I was 129.5. Somehow between Monday and Friday I got down to 125.5 lbs.I haven't been eating as much as normal but not enough to lose that much.Prehaps everything just kicked in.
I must say,I am happy at this weight.I lost it around my middle,by bum and waist.So I could wear tighter things then I normally would b/c my love handles were gone.I didn't know if it was just in my mind or if I actually lost weight,then a friend of mine came to my work and she noticed,then someone else mentioned it...so I guess it is noticable as well.I was glad that I stuck to it while I was away for the weekend as well.Normally I buy choclates and things to have in the hotel room but I didn't buy anything so I would just have to wait for meal time.
Anyway,how was everyone elses weekend? I am not sure what workout I will be doing today.I will check back later, I have to split b/c DH needs his computer.

I ate horrendous all weekend. My mom and I are starting Flex today. I have been sick, too. My throat is sore, and my body aches. I am gouing to do an easier workout today, like the Firm.

Congrats Lori on the weightloss!!!! That is awesome!!!!

I didn't do KPC yesterday. I had a very long day yesterday, it's no excuse I know.

Today is Monday and I am refocused, back to counting points diligently. Off to do some Cathe. Have a great day everybody and I will check in later.

Thanks Girls.The good Lord only knows how long it will stay off for! I wore a pair of jeans today that I have not been able to wear for the most part of the year.They felt comfy and a bit lose actually.
I felt a bit better as the day went on.I decided to come into work.Now the flight is delayed and we have to work an hour later:-( And you would not beleive how COLD this airport is.The wind is awful.Its gusting to 80 kms an hour.Out on that runway its going to be even worse!
I worked out today as well.I did 1/2 of Imax Extreme, 1/2 of KPC and abs. I was going to work UB but I didn't want to wear myself out to much.
Eating as been o.k today.I haven't been eating much b/c I am not feeling well.I REALLY have to be in the mood to eat a certain thing.
Anyway,I will check back sometime tomorrow.Hopefully I will get a workout in in the morning and I may put my tree up tomorrow night.

This is such inspiration! One of us met our goals! I can't WAIT for the feeling of clothes fitting looser and getting comments from people!

Ate great today (well, it ain't over yet. Thought I was going to make it all day yesterday but had a small snack attack last night). Did Imax also and made it through 7 INTERVALS WITHOUT STOPPING THE TAPE FOR A BREATHER! YEAH!!!! I'm currently doing the warmup on 8 inches then lowering to 6 for the intervals. When I can comfortably make it all the way through without stopping and with form as beautiful as Cathe's, I'll begin working on 8 inches.

Lori, sorry you and others are sick. Sounds like what I had last week! Maybe we're transmitting it to one another through the forum (creepy!!!). If it is, then you'll be feeling better in a few days, I promise. Hope others are feeling great and excited about the holidays!
 
Good Morning Ladies.....Yesterday went well, I stuck to my points. I am still sick. I do not know if I can muster in a work out or not. I feel 100% horrible. I probably will not work out, so that puts back even further. Oh well, when I am sick like this, I do not think it is the wisest thing to work out. Hope everyone has a good day.

Good Morning Everyone,
Future Fitness-It would be weird if we were passing around the cold to each other.One of these days,it may be possible.I know I am going to give it to everyone at work so I know I am going to get the blame.I could then blame it on my web friends but everyone would think that I was losing my mind as well!
LoriS-Sometimes I feel like it is not wise to workout BUT 98% of the time I do.Unless my body id really tired.When I just have the basic cold,I will muster up enough energy to workout.I feel better in the end.I always find that the cold doesn't last long.Prehaps I sweat the cold out of me!
Everything is the same here today.I didn't get off of work last night until 12 (morning) and I was back again at 6:30.I am not feeling to tired but I know it will catch up with me today.
I was debating working out now before I go to work again but I might save my workout for tonight.I want to do cardio and weights.If I work out now I will only get one thing in.I wish I was tired enough to take a nap.
I will check back later tonight.

lori and lori, sorry you are not feeling well.

I did PUB yesterday and ran 3 miles. Went to my sister's house last night and had a little Christmas get together with my parents. We went over to see her Christmas tree and sing karaoke. Of course I ate too much. I will be glad when the holidays are over! That sounds bad I know, but all this eating is killing me.

No work out here, thus far.I went to my in-laws for dinner and I just got home.I am going to decorate the tree a little and see how I feel after that.We had a salty dinner and I am soooooo thristy.
Lori-what you did for your workout is what I would like to do.It is almost 9 now though and I have been up forever and had a very busy day...we will see..

Well, at least I had a new experience this morning. Rather than gaining or losing, I maintained since last week. I am confused about it - although I didn't win as many AP points, I stayed closer to my points for the day. Maybe I simply need to make sure I'm exercising and eating the AP points I earn. Could also be the time of the month. I am feeling better though that I haven't given up yet. Usually I would have tossed in the towel by now, but this thread and WW online is keeping me sticking to it!

FFD-Its better then gaining,right?:) I bet if you weighed in a couple of days the scale would be down.Prehaps it is taking a few more days to show your weightloss.
I have been so crabby the last couple of days.I am even getting annoyed with myself! I guess I am not feeling well and everything is annoying me.My house seems as if its a mess.We put everything in the laundry room when the carpet was being put down and there is still stuff in there.My dryer broke down yesterday so now I have to dish out more money before chrsitmas.My daughter (to me) is extremely hyper,I don't know if it b/c of christmas or what it is but she is drving me bananas.And its when I don't have any energy and I am dragging my feet,shes doing a big dance in the bathroom when I told her to dry her hair.Then I decided to decorate the tree last night,which on the best of times, gets me cranky! Started that and DH can't find the box with the ribbon and bows in it.SO the tree is not even half done and there are about 7 boxes in my living room.Between that and the laundry room it feels like I am stepping over stuff all the time.I folded the clothes I managed to get dry and I realized my room is a mess, closet and dresser drawers need to be tidy.AND I JUST DON'T HAVE TIME!
This is not a joke either.Everything is getting to me from the t.v,to people,to animals,clothes...myself! And I try not to snap at people b/c in a couple of days when I get rid of this cold, I will feel bad.
Sorry to rant.Anyway, I am going to get my cranky a$$ off of this chair and I am going to torture myself with a workout.I am going to run and do PUB.
Hopefully I will be in a better mood later,

Hi Ladies....No workout for me yesterday, and probably not today either. I feel horrible. I called to see if I could get a dr.'s appt. today. This is day 4, and I still feel lousy. The good thing is I don't feel like eating and it has been easy to stay on my Points!!!! Talk to you later, and have a good day everyone.

Im Back....I hear ya LoriS on feeling horrible.Today when I wokeup I felt worse then I did on Sunday when it all began and this is day 3 for me.My appetite was a bit better yesterday but its not up to par today.I wish I had a job where I could call in sick but its hard to do this time of year.People need their hair done.I also work part-time for a airline.The plane comes in in the night and goes back out in the morning.We are suppose to be getting a snowstorm and EVERYTIME it calls for snow,the pilot wants to leave again that night.So we have to call all of the passangers,call people in to work and then someone still has to go in in the morning to deal with the people who missed the plane.Luckily,everytime they have done this,the weather as been down and the plane wouldn't have been able to leave in the morning.Moral of the story....They can call me all they want tonight and tomorrow morning...I am not going in! I have already worked 2 shifts this week and I have to do Fri night and Sat morning yet let someone else do it.
I did manage to workout.I did a 60 min run (6 miles) and PUB.I feel better now and I am not quite as cranky as I was early but I am sure it will come back before the day is out.
I am trying to decide if I want to eat or not.Im not hungry but I should force something down.

Thanks for the support. I was thinking the same thing - does anyone ever just feel like they've lost only to find the scale the same? Maybe this is all in the service of weaning me from expectations of quick weight loss.

I did Rhythmic Step tonight for the first time. What a fun workout! I actually got most of the steps down the first time, and think it is a great workout when you're more in the mood to have fun than to work really hard. Definitely got my heart rate up though. I highly recommend it if no one has it!

How is everyone else going these days? Have my first Christmas party to deal with this weekend - YIKES!!!

Things are the oppposite for me FutureFitness, I have lost on the scale but I feel the same.Of course my pants feel alot looser and my belly is flatter but its not as flat as it can be.Im wondering if this time, I may have lost it in my bum and thighs.Which is great also, but when I lose weight in normally comes off of my belly first.Don't get me wrong, I don't have a big buldge or anything but my pants were tighter in that area and my belly usually looks more like the wall at this weight.
I haven't done Rhythmic Step in a long time.That workout is alot of fun.You have given me an idea for today.Does anyone else not do thier hour long aerobics videos like myself? I will do the circuits and the Imaxs but when I want just start cardio I will run.I guess I know I will burn more cals when running for an hour.
I have two christmas parties this weekend.We are going to DH on Saturday night.Last year I didn't get home until 5 in the morning! I have been feeling so miserable all week ,that I doubt I will be drinking.Then I have to meet the girls Sunday evening for dinner and exchange presents!:) I love presents.
Things are going good here.My weight is staying the same.Hopefully I will be able to keep this off.I was comfy at this weight a couple of years ago.But now I seem to have trouble staying here.My arms are so sore from PUB yesterday.I am going to work legs today.I asked my sister for the High Step for Christmas,I am crossing my fingers that I get it.
Anyone notice I am in a better mood today?

hi girls,

I haven't checked in for a couple of days. Went to a Christmas Party last night and ate like there was no tomorrow. I stepped on the scale this morning. I am up 5 pounds from last weeks weigh in. I entered it on WW online. I know some of it is bloat but I have been a very bad girl this week. I had 2 Christmas parties and have not been on program obviously.

I am going to do step blast now and run later.

Lorisax, sorry you are not feeling well.

Lorihart, glad you are feeling better, and FFD, congrats on the weight maintenence, it's much better than a gain!

Well, I am feeling better today. I went to the dr. yesterday, and I have Strep Throat. I am going to do a workout today. I am going to do a Slim Series which is a little easier. I can't face Cathe quite yet. Hopefully tomorrow.

LoriHart- I hope you are feeling better today!!!!

Lori- I am sorry about the gain. I have done the very same thing myself. I have my first Christmas Party this Friday night. I think I am going to eat a big salad before I go so I won't be so hungry.

Glad to see the two of you gals checking in!
LoriS-I just have the basic cold...a bit rougher then I am use to.I normal just get a few sniffles and I am better in a couple of days.But this thing is hanging on tight.I woke up better then I was yesterday but it is still not slacking off any.The mornings are the worst.
Lori-I don't think it is possible to gain 5 lbs over night.The other night I had a high carb dinner, and salty.The next day I weighed 2 lbs more then the day before.I was retaining water obviously.With the salty food came lots of water.
Today I did Rythmic Step that to FFD.It was a great workout.I had forgotten some of the moves so the workout seemed really short.I wanted to do a leg workout but I was late starting my cardio_Oh well,It will have to be tomorrow.
