1.5 exercises????

Can someone please explain the 1.5 exercises that are listed in the 1 rep max exercises? I am hoping to finish my testing before my dvds arrive, and I'm not sure what the 1.5 means.

On curls, for example, you'd curl all the way up 1 whole time, back down, half way up, and back down. This equals one rep.
