•• CHEETAHS •• Conquering Monday!

Wendy - LOL...yep...that is what I do, too! Gotta have it! :)

Cathy - I just now got to check out your marathon pics! There were great!

Linda

Carole - Was DH home with you today? Glad you had fun with Joey today. Glad your mom seems to be happy. How's the smoking issue coming along?

Wendy - Jari just couldn't keep it to herself, huh?

Wendi - Sorry Philly is sold out. Hope something will come along you can set your eyes on. Glad you get to have a relaxing evening.

Linda - One of my neighbors has an invisible fence too. The dog never barks at me when I go by. As a matter of fact, it's my hopefully new running partner's dog.

Must go turn the heat up. It's a bit chilly here. Have a good night.

Evening, cheetahsJ

Gloria—how was yoga today? I’m about to do corpse pose myself. J

Judy—I posted her results yesterday—4:36. Hope you had a great long run.

Wendy—Oh yeah, got the full-blownDOMS goin’, esp. the tri’s. Yeoooowch. In a good way, natch. May downplay ski season for some other opportunities, but I'm sure something will come together.

Wendi—glad the show went well and Monkey won ‘em over. Awesome job with your 10 miler. Boo on Philly being sold out. Hope you can find an alternative.

Christine—wow, 10-12 is good. I tend to drink 32 oz. a day. Not enough, I know. Monday did get here kind of quickly, didn’t it? Hope you sleep better tonight.

Carole—IA ‘bout the music in BBC. But Joey does make it easy to drown out. Still, haven’t dusted off that series in *ages*. I’m so glad to hear your mom is doing well. Must be so much more comfortable to be in Karen’s home and not in rehab.

Karen—glad you are feeling back to your old self again.

Linda—was wondering where you were. Good job with your solo run. How are you feeling?

Posh—missed you! I see Napa mode is ON! What kind of a base are you aiming to build in the next 6 weeks? Sorry if I asked that already; I am having trouble keeping things straight these days. I’m sure it will be easier to train at the level you want to since you won’t have to coordinate your über-busy schedule with Beryl’s. Have you always done your mary training with a partner prior to this? Thank you re: the photo. Did you buy any of yours?

Shelly—enjoy a three-night break from work. Almost dropped when I heard we might get a fluttering of snow tomorrow. Crazy weather.

Jackie—ooh, I like “DOMS-ish.” Wish I had said that. Like the two-day work week proposal even better. J

Busy day today with meetings and preparation for tomorrow's observation. Will have no trouble passing out tonight. :D Workout bag is packed for tomorrow, and this time I remembered my runnin' kicks! :)

Have a great night!

Workout bag is packed for tomorrow, and this time I remembered my runnin' kicks! :)

Now are ya sure about that, Cathy? :p LOL

Down-playing ski season? Whoa! I never thought I'd hear you say that. Must be somethin' big in the works this winter for you to be considering that. Enjoy it, whatever it may be!:)

Good Evening!

Cathy: Nice you have the bag packed! Don't forget to put it in the car! ;) Been there, done that! :) The visit went well and it wasn't awkward luckily.

Judy: Yes, yoga was the thing I needed this morning for sure.

Wendy: It was a nice visit. I will be going back this week to see them since she is not in town so often. I was in MT the last time they were here.

Wendi: Rock on with your fast 10 miler! We are having nasty weather too.

Christine: It is funny...Ellie does not really shed. However, Pip is leaving her white hairs all over the place. I think I will have to pick up a lint roller in the morning. Hopefully I will keep the weight gain off this winter. I'm working on it! :)

Carole: It seems a lot of people I talk to have a little craziness in their families! I did have a nice visit with them. My aunt is a sweetheart.

Karen: Enjoy your new rotation! Sorry about the bug!

Linda: So happy your run went well! It is amazing what we can do! I did have a nice visit. I just hate getting grief for not being around so much. They could at least call me once in a while and invite me for dinner or something like that. Why do I have to be the one to initiate everything? Sorry for the rant. I guess since I am the oldest I have to step up to the plate. I am so pleased you have been running strong!

Posh: Lasagna is great, glad you enjoyed it. Congrats on ds's team! My aunt and her husband are both runners. Her husband was a rugby player on a team in Chicago when they lived there.

Shelly: How was your run? I did have a nice visit with my family. :)

Jackie: You were right. A nice visit it was. I have always had an admiration for this aunt. She is taking care of my grandpa who is 78 and says the American ways are all wrong. He is German born and came over in 1955 when my mom was just 2 years old. My aunt has cancelled two plane tickets he has booked to Germany already! He thinks he can just go there and live with no advanced planning or anything. She has a lot on her plate. He is stubborn and crabby, but I can't wait to see him later this week. His German accent is something I won't forget and I can't wait to hear it again. Awesome workout today!

I did yoga today. Eionn Finn 30 min. I ran yesterday and when I went grocery shopping my calf started hurting. Today no problems. Playing it safe. Tomorrow will for sure be a run. It is almost past my bed time.

Good Night!
