So.....I ran four miles yesterday. It hurt. And by dinner time I had multiple people ask me why I was limping 
There is food everywhere - chips, cookies, danishes. It's awful.
I am getting ready to head to the fitness center - either a swim or lifting, not sure.
This is depressing. Appt with sports med doctor is Thursday. Cross your fingers for me.
Service in these buildings is weird, check back when I can.

katie, soooo sorry abt the knee! i can imagine how disappointed you are.
and all the treats around adds insult to injury - literally. do your best to portion control, keep your meals nourishing and your water intake high. got any altoids??

I've been a lurker but not posted in this check-in before. I think I need to tighten up my eating some and thought maybe checking in would help ...? Maybe ?? ha
I'm pretty sure Patti posts here .....? and she gave me a great protein pancake that I've been eating almost every morning for breakfast. SO GOOD!! Thanks again Patti .
I just did an icycle that was 40 min. cycling, 10 min. abs, 10 min. stretch ! Good workout !
Oops! I should say my name is Becky . I have 3 kids. I know I'm older than all of you. I'm Cathe's age, but my kids are grown. Two out of the house and my youngest daughter is still at home but just graduated HS.
Nice to *meet* you all ! I'm going to make a pancake now for my after workout meal.

Sorry I never got back here yesterday-was in a bad mood. The kids were all driving me insane. I feel like such crummy mom. Why can't I be one of those moms that are so patient and calm? I did manage to get in a late workout-BM upper/abs. It's been eons since I did it-she goes way too fast. I like endurance and all but sheesh! Today starts week 4 of C25K so I'll be doing a run/walk tonight. Heading out to go look at some furniture and run some errands.
Katie, sorry about the food and the leg. Fingers and toes crossed for a good outcome Thursday.

I am a little tight this morning. I think I will do a good stretch tonight. I did Insanity Pure Cardio this morning and it is tough because there aren't any breaks. I also did CTX Shoulders.
Katie, sounds like you are headed for PT. I have to do hip raises daily because my hips are weak.
Kate, good plan to go to the beach today. I don't think I could stand all that banging.

I just had my birthday and turned 46.
I like to cook but I LOVE to bake, so I think I'll fit in pretty good here from the looks of it.
I saw the apple crockpot recipe yesterday & I'll try that one soon ! It looks yummy.

Morris (not sure if that's what you are called)....... you moved to Florida ? Do you like it ??
One day I'd love to live there. We spend some time near Clearwater in the winter. My parents get a condo there for the winter and we go visit. I love it.
Moves are so stressful though.

hi becky - call me morris or nina we moved from maine, where i loved living, except for the entire winter - a bit long, probably like ohio. jacksonville is okay. we live in a pretty area, and in a few months it will be great. right now it is is just so darn hot. i don't mind sweating early in the morning, but all day gets to be a bit much.
