Good morning, cheetahs!
Dallas—I loved the footage from Grant Park. Yes, history would have been made either way, and I just love that. Brought tears to my eyes as I watched. …Oh, the TnT emails you’ve shared have been extremely informative and helpful—thank you. Please continue to include me in that loop…I get bouts of insomnia where I’ll wake up and just can’t get back to sleep again. It might be my bladder calling, and then once any conscious thoughts appear in my brain, the wheels start spinning, I’ll think of what I need to remember to do that day, and I’m stuck wide awake. So yeah, I actually did do some more grading—what else? *lol* Really, there IS more to my life than that. I think. J Re: Imax2/C&W…That was one of the first Cathe DVDs I purchased, and I rather hastily sold it on eBay. I had done virtually no step at that point, and it was far too much for a choreography-challenged fool like me. J Anyway, this summer at the RT, Wendy, Angie, and Diana convinced me I was missing out on a killer workout, so I ordered it again. It seems to be a favorite among many. Ha ha on my dreamboat Shep. J …I am so thrilled you are Napa-bound! …The Aleve, the foam roller, and the yoga sound like an excellent proactive approach. Keep us posted on the hip.
Wendy—running for your dad (and will you be running for a patient, too?) is bound to make your first marathon an even more meaningful experience. I found the entire process to be so rewarding. And cyclical in nature in the most fascinating way. I would be out on a run, think of Steven and Michael, and feel this surge of strength, and yet Steven’s family, dealing with the absolute hell of chemotherapy, said they were somehow getting strength from what I was doing. It was astounding to me.
More rain in the forecast for today, so if it’s as chilly as it felt yesterday, an outdoor run isn’t likely for this cheetah. The ‘mill or the EXT it will be then.
Hope your hump day's a happy one!
