Pregnant and very worried about baby

Whew! I'm so glad to hear that! It's so scary when our little ones are in danger! It's amazing how quickly we come to love our children, even when they're no bigger than a pea. :-) Congratulations! Keep us up to date on how you and the punkin are doing. Erin

    Homebirth anyone??!!

I did it twice I had my last 2 children at home. I can't say enough good things about being able to labor and deliver in the comfort of my own home. Having had 2 in the hospital and 2 at home, I can say that it was a much better experience at home. There was no agonizing over whether it was...

    reasons for missed period??

Until you mentioned the birth control pills I was going to write that many times ovulation can be delayed due to any number of factors, including stress, illness, loss of sleep, etc. Even GOOD things that throw off the schedule can make your body take a step back and delay ovulation, and thus...

Pregnant and very worried about baby

Cyber HUGS! I don't know anything about your specific situation ( baby's heart rate and all ), but wanted to let you know that you're not alone in this, whichever way it goes. If the baby hangs in there, this is a great place for support for the months ahead. :-) If the baby doesn't make it...

    Newly pregnant--have question

The earliest I ever felt morning sickness was around 3 days post-conception. Yep, before the little sweetie even implanted. I can't explain it, but since it was a surprise pregnancy and I had no reason to think I might be preggers, it couldn't have been in my head. In fact I put off doing a...

    Suggestion for new DVD

CTX Actually the upper body segments are already combined for you in the CTX DVD set. It's one of the bonuses. There is also a section with all of the ab work combined for you.

Don't want to steal Susan's thunder, but......

Liz, I hate to say it, but . . . I've always had what the matchmakers in the old days would call "good hips for birthing." Plenty of room! :-)

Don't want to steal Susan's thunder, but......

YEAH!! Congratulations! Susan, when you read this, congratulations on your new baby!! I can't wait to hear the details! BTW, for anyone who might be freaked by the 9 lb + birthweight, that weight doesn't necessarily require a C section. I'm sure there were other factors that contributed to...

    Pilates Ab Workouts?

Hardcore Abs and Back with Keli Roberts is another good one. It's in the Bodybar Master Your Body series. It uses the 2 ft., 4 lb. bodybar, but that isn't strictly necessary. It's 30 minutes, but could be split up into 15 minute segments, IMHO. Good luck! Erin

    Cathe Classics DVD (volume 1)

I would also prefer: Step Heat Step Jam Step Max Chaptering I know we can trust you on, but my preference would be: Warm up Section 1 Section 2 Section 3 Abs ( on Step Heat ) Cooldown Thanks so much for getting our input on this! Erin

    Step Company Step Bench

I've used it I used the new black and gray aerobic step at Fact Fest a couple of weeks ago. It's exactly the same as the teal and pink except for the color. I kind of like it in the more somber colors, BTW. :-)

    New CIA tapes

I enjoy CIA videos in general. I think they offer a lot in terms of variety in advanced workouts. The background exercisers are sometime less rehearsed because often they are picked by Greg ( the producer ) and see the workout for the 1st time shortly before filming. Other instructors bring...

    Self Tanners

BTW, self tanners don't provide any protection from the sun. They just look nice. :-) My personal fave is the Banana Boat Medium soft blend. It looks very natural. My mom's fave is the Neutrogena tanning foam.

CIA - What are they like?

Workout quality really varies from video to video and from series to series. Some I've had I couldn't trade fast enough. Others are still on my shelf and you couldn't pry them out of my hands. :-) Check into reviews at Collage and Vieo Fitness before you place an order. Just the name CIA...

Need advise on which to buy?

MIS I think that MIS is better than PH for growing with. You can do it just fine without a barbell. Then when you're ready to add a barbell to your equipment, it will be all fresh and new again! :-)

    Which Barbell

RE: Another Vote For The Ivanco Aerobic Bar I have the Ivanko also, and I love it! It is a little bit bulky for upper body work, but as soon as your forearms get a bit stronger it's fine. And this bar is HEAVEN for lower body work. :-) Good luck! Erin

    A first Christi/Franny tape?

My preference Of the hi/lo Christi workouts my recommendation for a 1st venture would be Still Jumpin. It has the best combo of music and choreography. There are 4 people in the back demonstrating the less complex/low impact versions. So you can pick and choose how complex you want to get...

    An introduction thread !

Fun idea! 1. My name is Erin Ferragut. I'm 34, and have been married for 14 years this summer. 2. I live in Iowa. 3. I've been a Cathe fan for 5 years. I discovered her while I was getting back in shape after my last child. 4. My favorite Cathe strength is the PS series. While I have...
