Hi,
I'm a teacher and I know that at our school we LOVE TREATS. For me it's a great treat since I don't normally buy or make sweets. Our PTA does a lunch for us with great desserts. The teachers love it and really appreciate it. Homemade baking is the best. Teachers are busy people and...
Hi,
I moved to Houston (area) almost 2 years ago. I was recruited out of Edmonton, Alberta to teach at a high school here. I work for a school district in the Clear Lake area which is just south of Houston. I don't mind it at all. It is very humid and hot but being a teacher I was able to...

Angela,
Have you tried this program? I was looking over some of the reviews on the book and the program.
I would like to look into it further.
I am one of those who gets bloated almost daily. I do eat a variety of foods (good and bad) but almost everyday I am bloated and have gas.
I...
Is there anyone who uses weight watchers point system for maintaining their weight? Is there anyone who started on weight watchers to maintain not necessarily to lose weight? Is the program successful for you?
Thanks for any input you can give.
I would really like to get to the point where I am a "clean eater".
It's so difficult to start. I used to eat clean about 5 years ago but I lost so much weight that the doctor told me to stop it. I guess my problem was that I went back to sweets and junk food to get the weight back on and...
This happened to me after I had finished training for and running in a marathon. My knee was so over trained I was ordered No running and NO CATHE for a month!
I was devestated. I went for about a week and started to get very aggrivated and depressed. But my dad gave me the best advice. He...
I am an A.M. exerciser too (5:00am-6:00am).
I don't eat anything before I exercise. I also get bad stomach cramps if I do. My mom works out in the morning. She goes to the gym so she'll eat a small banana on the way but that would give me a stomach ache. I don't find any difference in my...
Something that worked for me in the hip, thigh, butt region was curcuit training. That worked wonders. I did the November rotation (more or less) and I was amazed by the results!
I love this workout. I would like to see another one similar to it.
I love all the core work and the intensity. It really does keep your heart-rate up the whole time!
RE: Not loud to me!
Not to worry about the towel thing. I have been using it for a year now and there have been absolutely no problems. Trust me!!!
It works so well my neighbors downstairs don't hear me at all. I've asked them. All the towel does is absorb sound. It's great! Which makes...
RE: Not loud to me!
Hi Tricia,
I put the towel right on top of the step. It doesn't interfer with stepping at all and you will be surprised how much it cuts down on the noise. I was desperate. When I moved into the apartments I quit working out with Cathe and got a gym pass because I...
RE: Not loud to me!
I live on the second floor of my apartment and I start working out at 4:45am so I worry about the "loudness" factor. What's helped for me is to put a towel on the step. It took a couple times to get used to but it works GREAT and it's cuts down on the noise. I use just a...
Cathe's version of the rotation is in the Rotation forum. I modified it and did:
