    Cardio Suggestions--PLEASE

I am relatively new to Cathe (July, this year) and started at the beginning with Basic Step, then moved onto Low Impact Step. Both of those I conquered relatively easy. Low Max was my next step adventure. Took a little longer to get the steps down - a bit more confusing then the 1st two I tried...

    Nutrition

Have you been on Tosca's forum yet?? There are a lot of threads on there to help you if you are starting the "Eat Clean" lifestyle. Like this site, a lot of the forum members are a wealth of information. YOu can always email Tosca directly too - she's responded to all of the messages I have sent...

Nutrisystem, Jenny Craig or Weight Watchers?

I've been a member of WW since June 6th this year. Love it! I've lost 17lbs to date. It's a slow process for the most part - many people want to see more drastic changes on the scale but everyone says healthy weight loss is 1-2lbs per week. The meetings are great (at least in my area) and it's...

    Hello from some Roadtrippers!

Have a fabulous weekend ladies. What an experience. Wish I lived closer (Barrie, ON Canada is a little far away for a road trip!) Maybe someday I'll be able to go. I'm hoping if I stick to my plan & reach my goal that a road trip would be a nice reward for me next year!! Of course, I have a lot...

    Which Workout

Well, I tried Low Max last night. Wooo-weeee, what a workout!! I was sweatin' up a storm with those intensity blasts!! Some of the footwork for the step moves messed me up. Luckily it has a pre-mix of just the step moves so I'm going to have to do that a couple times to get the step moves down...

    Which Workout

Thanks ladies. I'm sure I'll love them all. I'm trying to do it in a bit of a steady progression so I don't get overwhelmed and feel I can't succeed. Tonight it will be Low Max, tomorrow I'll try Low Impact Circuit to get some weight work in. I'm going to try Butts & Guts on the weekend. May...

    High Step

Thanks Ladies. Heather, i have one of those stools in my office!!! I think I'll just try it with the risers as see how I do from there. I am certainly not ready to do any of the high step workouts yet - working up to it. I can do step fine with one riser per side and can do basic with 2 risers...

    Precious Free Time

I love this forum! Lots of good info and everyone is so quick to answer questions for me! It's a great source of info. Now that I have "time" to do a decent weekly rotation, I need to work on my diet!! Apparently I'm not eating enough!! Again, a lot of that is lack of time to plan / prep my...

    My Mom passed away

Very Sorry to hear of your loss. It's hard to lose a family member. Both of my parents are getting old as well (my dad will be 84 this year, Mom is 70) It's scary. I lost a sister to cancer at age 36 and I too, am from a large family. I am the youngest of 7 children. Hang in there and keep your...

    Premixes

Please bear with me if this sounds "odd" however I am relatively new!! I have Low Impact Step + Total Body Sculpting. I scroll through the menu last night and find "Premixes". 3 in total. Cardio and Weights Circuit, Solid Scultping, Lower Body Cardio Blast. So I start looking to see what they...

    Precious Free Time

Thanks everybody!!! I toyed with the idea of quitting it for so long but I feel so damn guilty!!! It's a retail job and the staff turnover is huge that I'm one of the originals left there now!! But I honestly feel is was a great decision for my 'mental' health and my 'physical' health as now I...

    Help...Rotation / Structure Needed

Ladies, thanks again for your suggestions!! I really "upped" my challenge. I just ordered 7 new Cathe DVD's this week. Once they arrive, I'm going to plan a one month rotation and see how it goes. No doubt I'll be looking for pointers again. I ordered: Butts & Guts Total Body Stretching Kick...

    Precious Free Time

Well, I finally did it. I quit my 2nd job!!!! I've been working 2 jobs for almost 3 years now. I got the 2nd job so I could qualify for a mortgage - it was supposed to be a temporary thing (like 6 months) and I've been there for almost 3 years now. I basically work 7 days a week and take one...
