I just recently read Tosca Reno's book the eat clean diet wich gave me alot of info about the basics. What I still don't get is how do I know what I am eating is healthy. Is it ok to eat Just because it doesn't have hfcs hydrogenerated oils or other stuff. How do I know how much Saturated fat should I allow? How Much sugar is healthy? Also I find it hard to cook a meal when I am only cooking for me. Any tips?
 
Have you been on Tosca's forum yet?? There are a lot of threads on there to help you if you are starting the "Eat Clean" lifestyle. Like this site, a lot of the forum members are a wealth of information. YOu can always email Tosca directly too - she's responded to all of the messages I have sent to her. Use the sample menus in her books as a guideline. I have her cookbook as well and a lot of the recipes I cut in half or smaller as I normally cook for one as well. It is possible. Keep your eye out for recipes that freeze well. If you are like me, you can only stand leftovers so many times!!!
