What do you do for breakfast?????

I was looking for a change today too, so I made a toasted sandwich. A multigrain "thin" bun toasted, sliced tomato, baby spinach leaves with tzatiki spread. It was glorious and a nice change from the traditional breakfasts I've been having. I am also a fan of Kashi Go Lean with fruit but I find...

    Feels Great!

Jes, I can totally relate. I'm recently back on the wagon too and feel fabulous! But I'm also very self sabatoging and can fall off easily too and feel like crap!! This is probably the longest consistency I've kept up (since June 6th) I've had a slip or two but no falls!! Stick with it. At...

    NJ / MD Retailers

Problem solved. Can't buy them in retail stores as per support at Cathe's office. You can buy them at her place in Glassboro (unfortunately hubby has long since passed there on his way to Maryland!) Oh well, I'll just have to keep ordering online!!!

    Low Impact Circuit

Thanks, Lisa. August was rough for me, but at my WW meeting on Saturday I was finally down again!! So close to that 20lb mark I can taste it!!!! So, I've lost this much since June 6th, and would like to hit my 140lb goal weight by the end of October!!!! Unfortunately I have a week long holiday...

Really? I was sure on here someone had said before you can get them at Target or Walgreens. Hhhmmm, might have to make a call to Glassboro to find out - it's not too far out of his way!!!

    NJ / MD Retailers

Hi everyone, Looking for help from some Cathe fans in New Jersery / Maryland area. My Bf is in Atlantic City and heading to Baltimore area today. I have him on a hunt with my wish list for Cathe DVD's. (We are from Canada so can only order DVD's). So far, he hasn't found any. He'll be making...

    Low Impact Circuit

I finally had a chance to take Low Impact Circuit out of the wrapper last night. I didn't have a whole lot of time so I just did the Cardio Blast Timesaver premix (48 min). I have to say - what a blast!!!! That is the best, most fun, Cathe step routine I've done yet!!! (Mind you, I'm still...

The Low Intensity Experiment: Preliminary Results (Longish)

Afreet, reading your post hit home!! I'm by no means an exercise fanatic but I do try to get 3-4 workouts in a week and I eat well most of the time. What hit home for me was the obsession that overcomes me with this lifestyle!! I constantly think about eating and working out. I, too, had to take...

The Wieght Rack/Tower in 4 Day Split

I would second that motion!! I too, line all my dumbbells up on the floor. The only dumbbell racks I've found around here hold only 3 sets unless I go to the wall rack which will take up too much valuable "stepping" room.

    Which Workout Next

Wow, it's awesome to hear everyone's input. It seemed to take me a while to catch onto the moves in LM too but now I can do it start to finish without pausing (except maybe once to catch my breath!) But I'm taking the bull by the horn and trying a new DVD each week now!! Low Impact Circuit is...

    Which Workout Next

I agree with you that I should mix it up a bit more. The wonderful lady who gave me my first step DVD (Basic Step + Cardio & Weights) also teaches step and warned me about overuse injuries when doing just step as my main workout. Even though I don't workout everyday right now, I'm certainly...

    Which Workout Next

As most of you know, I'm new to Cathe fitness and taking baby steps. I started July 1st with Basic Step, moved onto Low Impact Step + Total Body Sculpting - both of these workouts I can do easily now. Next one I moved onto was Low Max - last night was the 1st time I got through the entire...

Really good Crockpot Steel Cut Oats

I made this last night without the brown sugar and it was great!!! I substituted dried cherries for the raisins and added a tbsp ground flax and 1 tsp pure maple syrup just before eating. I omitted the banana too - I'll have that as my snack later! LOL. I cooked for 8 hours, so 4 cups of...

Every woman should be professionally fitted for a bra

Ladies, I can't tell you how important it is. I work part time at a lingerie store and I'm amazed by how many women don't know what size they are or are wearing the wrong size. I also encounter a lot of women who insist they are a "36c" for example when they should be wearing a DD cup. When you...

    New.. old dvd :-)

I've been noticing that a lot of Cathe "Featured DVD's" that you can get the discount on are "older" DVD's. Perhaps that will help you. I check every week to see what's on "sale". I don't have a lot of recommendations as I'm still a "newbie". Right now I'm learning Low Max and it is quite...

    Cardio Suggestions--PLEASE

We'll see how it goes!!! LOL. I just hate not doing something from start to finish. Now that I've done the step premix in LM enough that I feel comfortable that I'm not going to trip over my feet or the step, I want to put it all together again!! The first time I did it start to finish I was...

    Cardio Suggestions--PLEASE

Beth, I'm trying to lose weight too, that's why I'm focusing 80% on cardio and 20% on weights right now. The more I lose, the more I'm increasing that weight percentage. I too, want to get 4 Day Split but I know I'm not "there" yet. My DH is heading to the states the end of August - I may ask...

Really good Crockpot Steel Cut Oats

I think it sounds great - I'm just a new fan of steel cut oats. Do you think I could just omit the brown sugar? Normally when I cook my oats on the stovetop, I eat them plain with 1tbsp pure maple syrup & 1 tbsp ground flax mixed in and a sprinkle of walnuts or almonds and I really like them...
