    Where do you workout............

How ironic to see this thread today - I am actually in the process of converting a spare bedroom into my very own "home gym"! Historically, I have used my family room and would store away my weights, step bench, ball, and shoes each day. Then...I started getting lazy and would leave these...

People undermine working out at home

I have to add my two cents here, as this has come up repeatedly in my life. I have always worked out at home - going on 15 years now (I am now 33). Well, I used to dance and therefore, also got exercise at the studio (I also used to run and still do sometimes). But, since I stopped dancing...

    Anyone here have tattoos?

I don't have one and don't think I ever will. I don't really care for them although I have seen people with cute ones and they look good on them. It's just not for me. Dianna http://www.picturetrail.com/Luv2WorkHard

    Just had to share!!!

That's great - just keep doing them and you will gradually increase the number you can do. And they are great for your physique! The most I've ever been able to do is 25 (that was a couple of years ago) and I am happy to report that after only being able to do about 15 for the last few weeks...

    Cardio recommendations? (Cathe or non-Cathe)

I love heavy cardio and hate complex choreography. In addition to Cathe's KPC and BC, I also love Mindy Mylrea's Interval Express. It is mostly athletic in nature and uses a weighted ball and a step. It's really good, in my opinion! Dianna http://www.picturetrail.com/Luv2WorkHard

How do you procrastinate on doing your workouts?

Too many ways to count! Eating, drinking wine, lounging in front of the TV, doing laundry, talking on the phone, "thinking" about working out and yeah, spending time on Cathe.com are a few that come to mind at the moment. Dianna http://www.picturetrail.com/Luv2WorkHard

    Seeking Tips from Morning Exercisers

Hey Caroline, We are pretty much on the same schedule - I have to get up at 5:40am on days when I am working out in the morning. Right now, I am doing 2 days during the work week (in the morning), Friday night, and Sat & Sun anytime. This gives me my minimum requirement of 5 days each week...

    BC/ME: Should I be scared?

No...be excited! Very excited! These are both fabulous workouts and are both in my regular rotation. I just did B/C yesterday and along with KPC, it is my very favorite Cathe workout. Enjoy and let us know how you like it after you have tried it. P.S. Interval #5 is a KILLER (the...

I always bag my dog's poop, so why...

I am a dog lover and have a beautiful 9-year-old German Shepherd (his birthday was yesterday). While I do my best to be respectful of others and their personal property, there is only so much that can be done. If your dog is pooping in the same neighbors' yards repeatedly then yes, that could...

    OK, I'm giving up

I agree with you and am in the same boat. *chanting: "Drill Max!", "Drill Max!"* Even though no one has quite the same intesity and quality of workouts as Cathe's (in my opinion) I do think Mindy Mylrea has some workouts that come pretty close. I do love Interval Express - it still...

Pushups--form? Hubby says I'm not going low enough?

I went through law enforcement training a couple of years ago and was instructed to go down just low enough where the upper arm is parallel to the floor - going down further than that was not necessary. Dianna http://www.picturetrail.com/Luv2WorkHard

    Ideas for Vegas

Well...my favorite things in Vegas are: -rollercoaster on the top of the Stratosphere -helicopter tour of the strip -the Hoover Dam -"old" Vegas (north Vegas...it's so 1920's mobster!) Other than that, I just like to walk the strip, eat at quality buffets, and play some cards! :)...

    Why is this considered o.k.??

Yeah...I think the media takes some kind of sick pleasure in reporting up to the minute weight fluctuations on actresses. Can yo imagine? If they start to put on a few, the media jumps on it and accuses them of being pregnant. Once it's confirmed that the actress is not pregnant, they blast...

    Why is this considered o.k.??

I have had the "you're too thin" comment a few times in my life, but funnier yet are the people who comment on how I *MUST* be anorexic/bulemic or otherwise "obsessed" with my body, since I work out so much. Yeah...that's it. RIGHT! In my mind, these are people who WISH they had the...
