    Now I am angry...

Yes, there were tax incentives. There still might be, I'm not sure, but if there are, corporations seem to know that these incentives won't be around for much longer. For example, Intel announced last month that they are going to build a $6 billion new plant in Oregon; they have plants all...

    Now I am angry...

During the prior president's administration, changes in tax and other corporate laws made it encouraging to corporations to ship jobs overseas. The current administration has not been able to reverse all of these changes yet.

    Heat or ice??

I thought it was ice first, and heat later! Because the ice prevents swelling? But I could be totally wrong. I think you should google it.

    Just a thought about sizes

Thanks Shayne, for initiating this conversation. I know I try not to let label size matter, but it's an ongoing process because it's been so burned into my brain that it means something!!! But I know that depending on the cut and the manufacturer, I fit into at least three different sizes of...

    Loving the cowl neck!

I swore I'd never wear skinny jeans this time around, but I've given in and have several pairs now. I'm liking the longer cardigan sweaters, and multi-metal, multi-chain necklaces. I'm not sure about cowl necks... maybe in a thin sweater fabric, but not something bulky.

    Bodybugg???

Have you tried searching in this forum on this topic? I know there have been threads about the Bodybugg before that would probably be helpful for you.

    Body Fat Percentage photos

I had this same reaction, I thought it was an obnoxious thing to write! The pictures were helpful in making me realize how low I DON'T want to go in body fat percentage. Low 20's is about the lowest I would feel good at.

    P90X/Cathe hybrid???

Yes, I did that, starting out subbing for cardio only. I quickly got tired of the same P90X strength DVD's every week, and subbed different Cathe strength DVD's too. Eventually I wasn't doing P90X at all, I was doing all Cathe!

Brutal honesty from a runner trembling on the verge

Yep, I stopped running over 2 years ago when I realized that running and my physical makeup just don't mesh. I was bummed because I had just completed my first 1/2-marathon and I saw so much room for improvement, but I was just getting sick all the time, and once I stopped running I stopped...

Single and happy... what's WRONG with that?!?

Hey guess what, psych research indicates that married men are happier than unmarried men, but married women have higher rates of depression than unmarried women. So no wonder you're single and happy! Kudos! :D

    10-10-10

Oooh! I was going to do a different cardio but that's a brilliant idea, I'm going to do it! Thanks! :D

Something Bad For You That You Gave Up...But You Still Miss It?

I miss wheat terribly, but it exacerbates my seasonal allergies, and makes me fatigued, bloated, achy and cranky. So even though it's worth it to avoid it, I'm mad at my body for being intolerant of it. I've never been a smoker, but a physician I used to work with quit a 20-year smoking habit...

    Johnny Depp

Love it! That girl (and the whole class) is going to remember this for the rest of their lives!

    Rotations

My favorite rotation is the one I'm doing now! I am on week 3 of a 4-week Gym Styles rotation I made up myself. Basically it's 3 days a week of the three Gym Style strength training dvds, and three days of cardio. I add abs on two or three days -- something from Butts & Guts, Ab Circuits, or...

    Cathe Sets

Of the workout sets I have (which is almost all of them except STS and most Shock Cardio) the Hardcore Series is my favorite. LOVE Low Max, all three Gym Styles, Muscle Max, and having the Core Max and Stretch Max to mix into other workouts. I've used workouts from the Hardcore Series more...

    Older Step Workouts

Besides Low Max and Low Impact Circuit (which jbliff already mentioned above) I don't think any of Cathe's step workouts are specifically low impact. But I modify many step routines to be low impact, and still get a good workout. The step in Body Max 2 is among my favorite, lots of fun and...

    TravelFit thoughts/recommendations for others?

If you're looking for a challening workout, Travel Fit isn't a great choice. I find Travel Fit useful for travel, but I agree it's an intermediate workout at best. I've used it on trips when I've stayed in tiny hotel rooms (and no gym in the hotel) and it's good for maintaining fitness but not...

Work out & tough it, or walk and stretch

If I were you, I'd walk and stretch, and maybe even have a nice epsom salt bath. Recovery is just as important as working out, so remember, your muscles are accomplishing something important while you rest and recover!

    pantyhose or no?

Opaque tights are more "in" than sheer hosiery, but if opaque doesn't go with your outfit or the season/weather, I would opt for sheer black. It's so hard to find nude hose that don't make legs look mannequin-y -- a friend of mine who has to wear hose to her job in a law office swears by...

    The clips! The clips!

I haven't tried the Intensity Clip yet, I've watched Lower Body Blast and High Reps so far. And OMG I am soooo excited! I like the music, everyone looks great, and everything looks FUN! Sorry for yelling, but Cathe you and the whole team LOOK GREAT!!!! Like you're working hard and having...
