    Cathe - I'm making progress!!!

Cathe!!!! For the first time ever I was able to do the tuck jumps in IMax2. I don't know why I couldn't do them before - I'm not sure if it was not being strong enough or cardiovascularly too hard - but all of a sudden I can do them now! And I'm hardly doing any modifications in IMax2!!! I think...

    ?Starch blockers

Well...I'm embarassed to say that after reading the article, I thought that it was a great idea! I rushed out to my local GNC and bought the one that my friend there recommended. Not a good idea! I got the "funkiest" feeling in my stomach - kind of like really full and then was very constipated...

I'm having a passionate love affair

Hi Georgia: Sometimes, I just plain forget about Bootcamp, then I find it again and it's fantastic. I have done the cardio only (during a crazy cardiofest!), I didn't stop the dvd to catch my breath and it was crazy hard but went by fast! LOL! (It's not very long!) When I do it again,I will...

    Beginner kickbox workout recommendations?

I really like Cathe's Cardio Kicks and the CTX Kickbox workouts. I'm not sure if they're pure Kickboxing - but I sure have fun and they both really get my heart rate up there! Plus they're both easy to follow.

I just did MIC hi/lo barefoot....on my new Reboundair!!

I LOVE doing the hilo of MIC on my rebounder. There are some moves that I modify but it seems to be pretty much at the same speed as the Urban Rebounder Challenge workout. I do agree that adapting a nonrebounder workout to the rebounder can be dangerous, but I think that as long as we use common...

    Finding small clothing sizes

I've found that most petite departments start at a size 2p. Have you thought about shrinking a pair of 2p pants? I'm a 4p but I have a lot of clothes that I bought last year that are 6p, I just had them laundered and put in hot dryers - they are now 4ps! I've noticed that several pairs of...

    Lactose Free Milk

I drink the Lactaid nonfat milk with Calcium - I guess it's the carageenan that makes it thicker than regular skim milk. I find it MUCH more palatable in my morning coffee.

    Winsor Pilates success, anyone?

I bought them a few weeks ago from Collage - $79.99 for seven workouts. I am VERY happy with my purchase. I do them after my Cathe workouts...I have only been doing them for a few weeks, but I'm definitely stronger (in the abs) and my legs seem a little more toned.

    A word to the Wise

Hi Mar! I sure hope that you're feeling better! My opinion on any injury is slower is definitely better! Have you thought about trying something new like Pilates or yoga? This might be a great time to try either of these in a rotation with the tapes that you already have. Also, you might want...

RE: See..... Oh Donna - what a sweet woman Francince is. I'm so glad that she was able to help you forget ( a little ) about your bad experience! I feel so close to all of the people here, that your terrible shock hurt me too! I know, not anything like it hurt you, but I still felt such shock...

Have you outgrown your Med Ball?

I'd really like to get a 12 or 15lb ball. NO! Not to use with Cathe - my 10 lb ball is heavy enough! LOL! But to use for biceps curls. I saw them at a nearby fitness shop and the were over $50!!!! Ouch! My Walmart 10lb ball was under $11. Has anyone seen a heavier ball for under $30?

    Cathe~fun thread

Oh my Gosh! That is SO funny, Donna. Those are EXACTLY the same ones I found SO hard! (Except for All Step - I just bought CTX and haven't tried All Step yet!) I remember when I first got Step Heat, I kept rewinding, rewinding, rewinding, I was so frustrated! Now I can do Rythmic Step! It's...

If you're on the fence about buying the baseball cap - buy it!

I'm not a real baseball cap kind of person, but I was really surprised with the quality and "cuteness" of this one! It's adjustable with a really nice leather band in the back. I'm so happy I spent the extra money and bought it!

HUNGRY ALL THE TIME ANY ADVISE???

Hey Michelle: Take a look at this website: www.radiantrecovery.com There may be some good info for you there, if carbs are a problem. I find that carbohydrates make me very hungy, so I'm careful with how many I have.

Have you outgrown your Med Ball?

Hi Wanda: I'm using the 10 lb one from Walmart. It's still challenging for me. I haven't used by 3 lb ball in a LONG time - it's just collecting dust!
