Push & Pull, its been a long time....

You do look good! Congratulations! I haven't done Push/Pull for a while. I should pull it out but I'm doing the 4DS right now. So many videos, so little time. Missy

I finally conquered the "Evil Enemy" Imax 3

RE: I finally conquered the Wow, you're in great shape for any age, but I'm impressed you are 50 and still going strong. I hope to do the same so you're a role model for me. I do Imax3 with no risers also. I have a hard time with the fast food shuffle, Missy

    Which DVD to buy next?

I would go with CTX because it has everything you need for a well-rounded program. Unless you are focusing more on the weightlifting, CTX has good weights plus the cardio as well.

Magic Bullet Blender...FYI (a little long, but good to know)

Wow, *shaking head* Guess I won't be buying one of these. Are they as easy to use as they look? Missy

Are there Cathe dvds that you hardly ever use?

I have so many workouts by her I can cycle through them all the time and have it feel like a brand new workout. I can't even list them all here. I tend to do the newer series the most and hitting older ones when I'm feeling bored. There's just too much to choose from! Missy

    question from intermediate exerciser

I second the Low Max and LIC suggestions. Both are good workouts and not too hard. At least if you keep your step lower to begin with. I'm not a fan of kickboxing either but that's a fun kickbox tape. CoreMax is always good to have and I like Ab Hits as well. My primary suggestion would be LIC...

    90 MINUTE workouts?!!

I rarely do a 90 minute workout, but occasionally will do BM2. My workouts are usually around 70 minutes because that's what most of Cathe's workouts are. Missy

    CALORIES AND WORKOUTS

I've been sticking to 1800 or so calories a day. I've lost 30 pounds in the past 6 months. I attribute a lot of it to exercise in addition to my caloric intake. I was running 25-30 miles per week but now I'm taking a break and doing videos. I wouldn't say 1700 is necessarily too low but I find...

    Why do men?

I dated a guy who I had a horrible time getting rid of. He kept wanting to get together to talk about 'why'. Eventually he gave up but not for a lack of trying. He would come over with coffee and ask if we could talk. He wanted to go to church with me. He even blamed the whole thing on a medical...

    P90X: Weights or Bands?

I use weights at home and bands if I'm away from home. I did get a pullup bar and consider that to be an essential to get the best workout possible. Missy

    Intensity of Cardio in CTX

The intensity of the aerobic portions of CTX are pretty darned intense. I was thinking that since they were shorter they wouldn't be so hard. Boy was I wrong! Missy

    Cathe Calendar

I loved it and I'm getting it again. The stickers aren't that great though because you run out of the ones you use a lot and there are lots I never used. I, too, put a big red X on the days I workout and write in the abbreviation for the workout I did. I also don't put my weight and measures in...

Need some advice- re: home business

CTMH won't let you have your own web site or domain other than theirs and you can't muck with the code to put in key words for search engines. Otherwise you might have an unfair advantage. In the old days you weren't allowed to have a web site at all and when they first let people have them they...

Which of your DVD workouts are most like Body Pump?

I've heard that Power Hour is styled after Body Pump. I don't know what that is, but it's a nice hard workout. Killer on the lunges. Missy
