Cathe, my office thinks I'm nuts

DH just gave me the look of "you mean you NEED another Cathe workout DVD?" But, he does like the results, wink, wink...

Those against a modifier in high impact workouts, what's the downside?

Modifiers wouldn't bother me at all. Once I know the routine, I don't even look at the t.v. anymore. I'm just focusing on what Cathe says.

    STS Legs

Sure, I can share what worked for me. My workouts consisted of two-a-day workouts in the beginning. I was unemployed at the time and got antsy in the afternoon so I’d workout. Now, I’m working part-time, I’ve eliminated the two-a-days for the most part. Here’s an example of my “unemployed”...

I've been on this program since January and I've dropped my body fat 4.5% and lost 13 lbs.

    Headaches and TTOM

I've had hormonal headaches for years and nothing I've taken works. I've just suffered through them. I am going to try RapidBreath's suggestion. Now that I'm 40, however, the intensity and duration of the whole TTOM is lessening, thank goodness!!

    My two questions

I LOVE the premixes. It prevents boredom and it's another way to keep my body guessing. I also really enjoy the chaptering in the premixes that was done with the LIC, BM2, etc. workouts. I love the opportunity to see what's upcoming and then change equipment if necessary, etc. I must say, I...

    Selling the workouts individually

Another vote for the sets; I'd love to pre-order the Circuit DVD's!

    STS Legs

What I've done to slim down my thunder thighs (24" down to 22") is run and muscle endurance-type work outs. I'll do B&G, BC, HSC (favorite!) and DM. I think HSC has done the most toning. I wouldn't stop using weights, just find out what works for you. It may be the case of trial and error. I did...

    Functional Fitness

I second that! I love step, but having an alternative to it like a functional fitness workout would be awesome. And I agree, I would LOVE to see Cathe's version - hardcore for sure! :D

DVD recommendation - Where else can I find cardio drills?

You may want to check out Drill Max or the Bootcamp/Muscle Endurance dvd's. Also, 4DS has a bootcamp cardio that you may like. But DM and BC are my absolute favorites.

    BM2 Intensity

I reach for DM more than BM2 simply because of the step. Nonetheless, BM2 will be a great addition!

    What's your favorite workout song?

3 favorite get-me-going, pick-up-the-pace song are: 1) Higher Ground - Red Hot Chili Peppers version, no offense to Stevie 2) Lord of the Rings, Two Towers score/trailer (AWESOME!) 3) Right Round - Flo Rida (it's got a fantastic beat)

    BM2 Intensity

That's a good question. Drill Max is definitely intense in that you don't use the step very much, certainly not in the traditional way, making it a totally different type of workout. It's more like a bootcamp-type of workout. I do like the way DM incorporates the weights throughout the workout...

    Boot camp

Okay, I did BC this a.m. and it was TOTALLY AWESOME, DUDETTES! What a workout! I needed a new workout and this totally fit the bill. There were times when I was saying to myself, "is the minute over yet?" If you're on the fence about purchasing this, do not hesitate. BTW, the DVD...

    Boot camp

I just received BC/ME this week and previewed it yesterday while running on the treadmill. It seemed to work fine. Did your act up after several showings or right away? This looks like such a fun workout that I'd hate to have something wrong with the disc. I'll be trying it on Sunday.

    For all you cat lovers

DH & I finally figured out why Joe's litter box has been dry; one of our dogs has been eating it! She's been throwing up for the last three days at night and it dawned on us that that's what's happening. She's done this once before and we finally caught on. Eventually, we'll get our animals healthy!

    For all you cat lovers

I took Joe the cat to the vet and thank goodness, he's perfectly healthy! The vet couldn't really explain why he squats but he doesn't have a UTI. :D

    Anyone have thyroid issues?

After the birth of our third child, I developed post-partum thyroiditis. During pregnancy, my thyroid was somehow damaged. After birth, the thryoid tried to correct itself and went hyperthyroid (not fun even though the weight came off; It was like an all-day anxiety attack) then hypothyroid...
