    How does cardio work with STS?

    I just do cardio on my non STS days. I either run or spin or do a video if I don't feel like going to the gym. I try to get a minimum of 4 days of cardio on top of STS. Once I go to a regular work schedule at the end of this month (M-F), I will increase my cardio to 5 days per week.

    Hypothyroid folks - what do you take your meds with?

    I take mine as soon as I wake up and only with water. I try to wait at least an hour before I eat, but sometimes with my work schedule, I have to eat earlier or not eat at all. I take my BCPs 3-4 hours later, and I take my vitamins before bed.

    Meso 3 Legs

    I do them both, and have been through all the Mesos. I usually do the Plyo at the beginning of the week like Mon or Tues, and I do the leg workout on Friday. I have not had any issues.

    WOW!!! You guys are some serious calorie burners. My GWF tells me that I barely burn anything. On my STS days, I get up to 1750-1800 calories. The days I get about 2200 are when I run 6-7 miles.

    Has anyone NOT taken a break between Mesocycles??

    I did the 3 month rotation the first time through, and I only took a break between meso 2 and 3. This time, I'm doing the 6 mos rotation, and I can't wait to get my recovery week in. I will be taking all of them this time.

    Are you eating something before plyo? Because you're doing resistance and cardio at the same time, you require more calories. You may be running out of energy and hitting a wall.

    My Go wear fit told me I burned a little over 350 calories doing Kick Punch and Crunch. I was surprised. I expected to be closer to 200 calories. I only burn 250 doing plyo legs.

    I don't recall DOMS in Meso 3, but I do remember getting the best sleeps I've ever had in my life. I would pass out at the end of the day and sleep all the way through the night. I suffer from insomnia, so that says a lot.

    Q for those without a barbell rack/bench

    I used my step instead of a bench and dumbbells instead of a barbell. It must have worked because I could feel it for 2 days afterwards EVERY TIME I worked chest. I think the trick is to make sure you push heavy enough weights for you.
