    How long???

I have over 40 workouts on 21 of Cathe's dvds but this is my first Cathe preorder! I'm wondering about how long after the filming does it usually take for the workouts to get to us? The blog has me very excited!:9 Robin

    Hardcore Extreme

Just a quick note....Hardcore Extreme is VERY intense! I did the Hi/Low Interval Workout this morning and it is the most intense, nonstop, buttkicking, calorie burning cardio workout I have! (And I have most of Cathe's workouts!) Robin:)

How do you know how many calories you burn?

I generally find that a good Cathe cardio workout burns about 40,000 calories! LOL! I did HC Extreme Hi Low Intervals this morning on an 8 inch step and I'm sure it was at least that many! :P Robin

Which videos gave you the best results?

The Gym Style Series really rocks for strength and toning! Muscle Max for endurance. All Imax workouts for burning calories. (GS is my absolute favorite!) Robin

Do Cathe's workouts get progressively harder?

I say push yourself x( ! Using the more advanced workouts, choose lighter weights and/or take short recovery periods when necessary. Before long you will find that your fitness level increases exponentially and you will be upping weights and removing the recovery time! The way Cathe pushes...

    New Instructor - Bootcamp/Kickboxing

I personally do not like the Mindy Mylrea's KickButt Bootcamp that well. The first two sections are alright but the KickBox section grates on my nerves. The leader doesn't stay with the music, calls right the left and vice versa and most annoyingly says, "Bam" at nearly every punch. I'd...

    Weirdest compliment

I used to wear my long hair blonde and an older lady came up to me and said, "You look just like that pretty lawyer on Fox News!" She meant Ann Coulter! I'm sure she meant it as a compliment but UGH! I was like ....NO WAY!x( Robin BTW, I'm now a brunette!:-)

    THE 3rd AFTER

Sharona, Imax2/Cardio+Weights were my 1st Cathe workouts. I'd been using the Firm for a long time and considered myself to be in pretty good shape...SURPRISE! Cathe kicked my backside but good! ;( I adapted by taking Imax2 1 interval at a time. I would work the 1st one, rewinding as...

    KPC or KM?

I would definitely go with KPC. Kick Max seems to have more non-kickboxing moves to get the heart rate up. KPC is fun and tough all the way through! Bonus: You also get Legs ang Glutes, a fantastic leg workout! My favorite Cathe Kickboxing workout is Cardio Kicks. It is older but a...

    Hair up or down?

UpUpUP! Nothing like geting smacked in the face with the flying hair then having it stuck there! I don't even like the ponytail sticking down my back! (My hair is pretty long!) The last twist through the ponytail holder I double or triple up the hair to make it even shorter! This is...

RE: Workout suggestions I want to chime in with a reminder to use the "premixes"! I will often use those when I'm running short on time!:-) Terri

Do I need a new step?

Hey Daisy! I used the Transfirmer with my Cathe workouts for about 8 months before getting the Reebok Step and High Step for Christmas. I wanted to spend my $$ on workouts, not the step! :D Now that I have the Step I NEVER use the Transfirmer. The Step has a much larger surface...

what cathe dvd is your favorite?

I couldn't say which Cathe workout is my favorite but I will say that Timesavers is my least. :( It is more expensive, but for everything you need at once CTX is it:9. Cardio includes step, Hi Low, Kickboxing and combinations of them all. There are Circuit and Interval workouts and it also...

    What Did She Say???

Hey Melissa! I did Power Circuit today as well, also getting a kick out of that one! I got the giggles with Slow and Heavy, I think in the Biceps/triceps workout where she says she is "Shakin' like a Chihuahua!":P What a fun thread! Terri

    Which one??

My personal preference is KPC. Kick Max is one of my 2 least used Cathe workouts. I'm not sure what it is about it because I LOVE kickboxing! Have you considered her older Kickbox workout, Cardio Kicks? I reach for that one all the time! Just my Opinion!:7

Bump! I've been wanting to ask Cathe this same thing!:-)

Imax Interval Blast #8 -- I'm so discouraged!

Sometimes I'll do the Imax workouts out of order. For instance, Start with the warm up then do interval 8. Jump back and do 1, 2,3, then 10, 9, 5 , etc. Sometimes if you do the most difficult ones first, while you still have the energy, you can get through them and strengthen your legs in the...
