Don't know if this will help but my husband used compression shorts for a few days and never had a problem. Did not use any frozen veggies or anything. Subsequently his friends have used them and found that they worked like a charm.

I take some frozen spinach and warm it up, add egg whites and at the end put on a piece of low fat swiss and flip it over like an omlette. Don't know if you are allowed the spinach and swiss.
