    Pull-Up Bar Problem

I wanted to get a pull-up bar for P90X. I bought one at the store that kind of resembles The Door Gym but my door frame isn't wide enough for the brackets. I live in an apartment so I don't have tons of options. Does anyone know any other pull-up bar options? Thanks!

    How to get motivated?

I used to consistently workout 3-5 times a week but over the past year, I've been awful. I moved into my own apartment in a city and started nursing school so I've been busy but I don't think it's a good excuse. On top of it, I eat terribly but surprisingly I've only gained about 5 pounds over...

    Pull-Up Bar ?

Are there any pull-up bars that don't require you to permanently attach them to a doorframe or wall? I live in a rented apartment, so I can't really be drilling holes. I'd like to get one for the P90X videos. Thanks!

oh NO! broken/really hurt toe.. now what!

I also hurt my middle toes- stubbed it badly and I couldn't wear shoes (besides flipflops) for a week. There's not much to do but let it rest, ice and elevate. Mine is fine now but it took about a week.

    what about bikini waxing?

Waxes can be good and bad. It definately hurts- sometimes if you get a good waxer, it's not so bad...however, a bad wax can kill! Every once in awhile I'll get a bad wax and get a lot of ingrowns. If you use Tendskin or a similar product before and after, it helps. It starts growing back in 2-3...

    How to Diet with Success

I'm 25 and want to lose 5 solid pounds that I've gained from eating too much junk food and only working out 2x's a week. I started keeping a food journal and am loosely following the WW Points plan. Some days I do ok (never great), other days I eat about double the points I should (meaning I...

    trim spa & Anna Nicole

Does anyone believe that Anna Nicole lost all that weight from TrimSpa? I think she lost 60 lbs- she does look great. She said she just took TrimSpa and ate better, but hasn't started exercising yet. Just curious

    Cleaning up my diet

I LOVE junk food (unfortunately) so I hear what you're saying. What I do is keep a food diary. I allow myself something slightly unhealthy like an order of fries or a Pepsi once or twice a day (depending on if I exercised). I highlight the foods that I shouldn't have eaten. So if only one thing...

    Timesaver Rotation?

Do you think it's enough cardio/weights to equal a wellrounded workout? As of now, I'm a fulltime student so I don't have tons of time to workout. It seems like a good DVD but I'm not sure if it's enough cardio (I haven't tried any of the workouts yet) thank you

    Timesaver Rotation?

Does anyone have any rotation ideas for the Timesaver DVD? Thanks

    IMPORTANCE OF ROTATION

Good for you for working out! I used to only do step tapes and then my knees started feeling it and I had to cut back for awhile (I was in my early 20s). I agree with the others- crosstrain. You'll see results faster and not reach a plateau. I don't care for kickboxing either. Try hi/lo...

    shrink your stomach??

Over the past few months, I've been eating a lot. Whatever I want, whenever. Needless to say, I've gained 5 lbs (I also have slacked on workouts). I tried to eat somewhat better today (I'll never be a super-healthy eater) but I kept getting hungry. How can I lose weight if I'm always hungry...

    enough cardio in CTX?

I think it's a good cardio workout- if it were longer, you may not have the energy to do the weights portion at the end. If you're doing a CTX rotation but want more cardio, just replace a CTX tape with a day or 2 of longer cardio, like running or take a class, but be sure to do the weights portion.

    Anna Nicole Smith + Trimspa

Has anyone seen all the commercials and ads showing how Anna Nicole Smith lost all this weight using Trimspa? Who believes it? She did lose a lot of weight and she says its all because of Trimspa.

Questions for the size 0's out there?

Sizes are different depending on where you shop...I'm a pants size 2 at the Limited, but in juniors departments I'm a 5/6. It just depends. I'm only 4'11" and small boned so I can't really shop in women's depts. I think it definately has to do with your frame. Almost as important, is your...

    ganglion cysts (in wrist)

I had mine removed about a year ago. I had had it for almost a year and it would become sore when I'd do pushups, yoga, etc. I went to a hand surgeon and decided to get it removed. They can either drain it with a big needle (it may still come back) or cut it out. It was an outpatient procedure...

    BFL question

For those of you on the BFL program, does it work? I bought the book years ago but never really did it because I wasn't sure how to incorporate the recommended workouts with my own videos and classes at the gym. Most are around 45 mins and the book says to do 20 mins. Plus, I have Cathe...

    Timesaver DVD Cardio?

Does anyone know how long the cardio portions are on the new Timesaver DVD? I read that the sections are about 45 mins and include body parts. So is the cardio even shorter than the XPress series which were 60 mins in length? Thanks!

    I tried NutriSystem

I tried NutriSystem. It was advertised a lot recently and sounded good since I have trouble with portion control. They send you prepackaged food to your door. So I ordered the trial ($30 incl. shipping for 5 days of food: 3 meals and a snack- you're supposed to supplement it with milk products...
