    Bowflex 6 week challenge

Is the challenge on their website? We own a Bowflex and I used it alot until I discovered Cathe. A friend suggested just yesterday that I incorporate it into my fitness routine and circuit style stuff. I'm up for the challenge! But where the heck is it? Alexis

    Downloading music from the internet...

Everyone has pretty much summed it up: If you don't pay a fee for the music, it's illegal and you'll go to hell, or jail, or be fined thousands of dollars. Not worth the risk anymore. Alexis

    CTX Upper Body

RE: Alexis and Carol! But they're ALL soooo good, I haven't gotten around to it yet. But I'm getting there now! Carol, you call it a moment of temporary insanity, I call it a "brain fart". Works for me. Alexis

    Dateline on Sunday night

I actually saw this one last night! I usually don't watch much TV but this was on while making dinner. It was interesting, especially the one gal who at age 43 decided to run a marathon. I was happy for all of them and the work that they put into their individual programs. Actually, the one...

    Low Carb Craze

You're right. Atkins slipped and fell. Personally, I think that strong opinions EITHER way (high carb/high protein/who cares?)need to be taken as that one person's opinion, not gospel. There are statistics for everything. And I'm sure everybody has an opinion that works for them. Alexis

    Guilty secret website

Hey, I'm in the 19th percentile and feel like a moose compared to you all. Don't get me starting another "peanut" thread! It's definitely an ego-boost site but I think other stuff has to be considered. Like Bobbi's tummy. And my JLo butt! (edit: if I REALLY looked like JLo and her butt I...

    Low Carb Craze

I don't follow any diet in particular, except the Christmas cookie diet in the past few weeks ROFL!! I bought South Beach and liked most of it. I think Self Mag had a review of the "doability" of many of the diets and rated Good Carbs/Bad Carbs most doable. For myself, I know that I was not...

    CTX Upper Body

Well, sounds like another reason to buy the CTX DVD! Hope I can buy it separately. It's exactly what I'm looking for so thanks for the input. Alexis

    CTX Upper Body

Thanks JoJo! Is it that different from the rest of Cathe's upper body workouts? Could I put it together on my own? I have PS, S&H, Pyramid, PH/MIS, ME, PP/SS. It must be the same stuff, right? Alexis

    CTX Upper Body

I don't have this one and I see it in a lot of rotations. Can someone tell me what DVD I need to buy to get this workout? Alexis

Your favorite facial skin care products

Don't thank me yet Sue. I may just have "enabled" you! Because it's so inexpensive (relatively), you may become a junkie like me! Alexis

Your favorite facial skin care products

As a mineral makeup junkie, I can suggest making sure you get samples first to try. On-line places that sell samples are Geografx, Monave and Aromaleigh. I'm not familiar with Bare Minerals. I do know that Bare Essenctuals (sp) and Jane Iredale have a shine to the makeup that isn't so great...

    winsor pilates ab sculpting

Abs is not my strong point. I have to rest when doing Cathe ab work and the Winsor abs is not difficult for me at all. It may be effective but it's not hard to get through. Alexis

    Bloating

Oh I forgot about the health food store stuff. I was recommended a supplement called Food Enzymes and it worked like a charm. I don't have the need for it anymore but it was a noticeable improvement. Back to the air-swallowing, I had a pelvic ultrasound a few years back and ya have to drink a...

    January 31, 2003 - a time to reflect...

Hi Jillybean! This has been a pretty good year for me. The highlight was that I found Cathe in September! I'm feeling great now that I have a plan to get stronger. I have had some really bad years (mom died and three operations for me) and it does get better with time. The memories find a...

    Bloating

Yep, I'm a bloater. The doctor told me that I am, apparently, an "air swallower". Meaning, I tend to swallow lots of air when I eat. Well, doesn't everybody? Guess not. I have noticed that since I've cut the carbs of bread and such way down, the bloat is less. But I've always had issues...

Your favorite facial skin care products

Hey Jilly, Orrrr, go to www.essentialdayspa.com and write to the aestheticians there. I have adult, oily skin and I wrote to them and described as much as I could. They made recommendations and it is perfect for me. They are pretty amazing there. Dermstore is a good place to order from...

Cathe - I can't breathe on stability ball!

Cathe, I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but laying on my tummy/chest on the stability ball, makes me feel like I can't take a breath. Is there something I can do (aside from not using the ball) to adjust to this uncomfortable feeling? Alexis

Jillybean, Have you ever tried Pro Active? It worked really well for my son and didn't dry out his skin. E-mail me and I'll send you some to try if you want. Alexis

So far, it appears that we are the only ones who have a problem with this :P ! Good idea to post to Cathe. Alexis
