    ADVANCED!!

Just chiming in here to say yes please to another advanced, complete series. Let "everybody else" make the beginner/intermediate workouts, and let Cathe stick to being Cathe - which means an advanced approach to safe, effective, and balanced workouts.

    Running workouts

I tried Amy Dixon's Treadmill Coach Vol 1 today also. Had to break it up into two sessions due to time constraints and only did the first 4 stages, but WOW. Something about it made me push myself further than I thought I'd be able to go. At the end I was dripping with sweat. I totally...

    Running workouts

I also found 2 workouts from Jeff Galloway (also on Amazon) coaching through his Run-Walk method (2:00/1:00 and 3:00/1:00 intervals). I may get those eventually, but it really is just him telling you when to run and when to walk, and there is no variation that I can tell. I was curious to see...

    Running workouts

Thanks, Elsie! As a result of browsing the Marina mp3s, I found a couple of treadmill interval mp3s from Amy Dixon and another generic coaching one from Jessica Smith. I bought the first treadmill workout from Amy Dixon. Will see how it goes, but I think I would still like a video.

I currently devise my own intervals on the treadmill, or look at workout intervals on the internet to follow, but...

    Yoga Experiences...please share

I've consistently incorporated yoga into my routine 1x per week for about 30 years. I don't think it is necessary to do it multiple times a week to improve your poses - once a week is enough. As the 112toGuru mentioned, even if you you only do yoga 1x a week, you will notice an improvement...

It's time for beginners and intermediate workouts.

Interesting thread. I am a "new" poster, but have been working out with Cathe since the 90's. I started with her Maximum Intensity Strength and Pure Strength Series on... VHS!! (I am 51) I have a huge DVD library of various workout videos, and the only reason I buy Cathe is because she does...
