Pull up bar in STS video?

YvetteM, I purchased a Valor Fitness BD-9 Power Squat Stand at Amazon for STS. It works great as a pull up bar, squat stand, and for bench presses. I didn't have Cathe's rack (Power Tower?) so this worked out well for me.

    Michelle Dozois: Bodyfit 360

I really like the looks of these and I like Vol. 1, and so I was tempted. But I won't let myself acquire either of the new ones until I use Vol. 1 more regularly. And I'm standing by that! :p (There, I said it, now I really have to stick to it.) ETA: I CAVED! Shame on me.

    Body Beast

Oh no, Jen, that bites! Is there a gentle stretching workout in PiYo? Or do you have any gentle yoga? Maybe you could do a Yin yoga (long deep slow stretches) from youtube, for example Yogi Nora's.

I got mine in the mail today from Mary @ TFDVDs! Well how-in-the-world did THAT happen? ;) :D I'm actually watching it right now. I was thinking that I'd start it when my Achilles tendon was completely healed. But what-the-heck, I might start it tomorrow morning before my first physical...

    Bodybuilding/Sculpting check-in;-)

Hi ladies, I haven't been here for a long time. I actually stopped doing workouts on the last day of June. My hands were hurting from being on crutches, my hips and lower back ached, and I just got tired of crawling around on my knees to set things up. Six weeks was too long, mentally, to be...

Oh I totally agree! I love those old songs (and I'd especially like to hear some Joan Jett on a Cathe DVD). I don't even mind the changed lyrics.

    Bodybuilding/Sculpting check-in;-)

Hi Ladies, I hope your workouts are going well. Last Tuesday I had the MRI. I have a ruptured Achilles tendon, 1.5 cm separation. I decided to go with the non-surgery treatment. An interesting tidbit: my doctor told me non-surgery is more commonly done in Europe where in the US most...

    Favorite rotation ever?

Oh my gosh, that was a funny rotation to read through! :D Cathe's so stern and serious. But, ahem, I guess it's not really a rotation to laugh about.

    Your favorite easier workouts?

Good ideas, Swimmer! I do have Yoga Foundations and a few KCM's I could do 30 min. I was looking at Jessica Smith's Total Body Balance, but then tried one of her walk workouts on youtube, and was unsure. Oh, the choices!

    Your favorite easier workouts?

I do need to remember to do shorter premixes! I have been starting to add short yoga segments to the end of shorter workouts and I think I need to continue this. Thanks for the DVD suggestions. I did Cardio Supersets this week as well as Low Impact Circuit, though LIC totally exhausted me...

    Your favorite easier workouts?

I've had a low energy week and a few weeks ago a recovery week, having finished 5 months of STS. I'm finding a need to add some less intense workouts to my collection. Who better to ask than Cathe fans? What are your favorite workout DVDs for strength maintenance, cardio, movement, anything...

Hi ladies how are you all doing? Nathalie, hope you're having fun in Paris! My previous week, first week of Gym Style, went pretty well despite all the DOMS. However this past week did not. On Monday, I did Gym Style Back Shoulders and Biceps, which was left over from the previous week, and...
