Which new workout are you most looking forward to?

Oh yes....I enjoy that section too. Alas, I also tend to lean a bit too (and sometimes wonder if I'm doing a good job ;), ah, but it's all fun and good.)

Which new workout are you most looking forward to?

Oh my! Every single one of the the new workouts sound like they were made just for me. :) I'm beyond excited, but if I simply HAD to pick one I would have to say High Reps. Out of all my Cathe DVDs with my muscle type (small ;)) I would say I get the absolute best results in the shortest workout...

Join me for questions about DVD Outfits

The clothes are lovely. I'm also going on the Houston Road trip and I'm hoping to possibly see small (0-2) non-petite pant sizes. :) To be honest, I'll just be happy to get any pants in my size at any price.

    The Cove

I watched it and cried as well. The documentary is unforgiving of the fishing/whaling industry. Today, sadly, marks the first day of Japan's annual dolphin hunt. It saddens/horrifies me to even think about it. There was also a big controversy about the movie actually being shown in Japan --...

Big time answer to my biggest prayer

I am also sending prayers your way. As a person who had a eczema for the 1st half of my life (about 30 years) on my arms and hands please know there is plenty of chance that it will go away. I haven't had even a trace of it for about 20 years. I'm not exactly sure if it has to do with diet...

    Argh! Surgery dilemma (gallbladder)

I really like the quote "that's what surgeons do, they cut." It's so true! I'm curious about your cleanse....was it a fast? I ask because a friend of mine had a frightening gallbladder episode recently -- I would like to hear more about it if you are willing to share.

Eat, Pray, Love- can't wait to see it!

Oh my.... that's really taking a book to heart! I've certainly cried over a book, but I can't say I ever ate or over-indulged over what I read (hmmm... not that book anyway). Yikes. It's certainly interesting how everyone has a different take on it. ;)

Eat, Pray, Love- can't wait to see it!

I'm in the minoritiy....I didn't enjoy the book so I don't think I'll enjoy the movie. Gilbert was just a bit too self-indulgent for me.

Eat 4 your type book question (another one!)

You're kidding. Right? Not everyone or everything is funded by Big Pharma. Do the research and check out the doctors. I certainly would, if it were my body. I've obviously offended people. My sincere apologies. My only intent was to enlighten. Please stay healthy while I bow out of...

Eat 4 your type book question (another one!)

Gary Taubes would never support the pseudoscience behind Blood Type Diet (especially the plans recommending higher carb intake and less fat). ;) Read the reviews, other reputable scientists and doctors say the diet itself is not even plausible enough to be called pseudoscience. I'm really...

Eat 4 your type book question (another one!)

http://diets.ultimatefatburner.com/review-eat-blood-type/ http://www.webmd.com/diet/eat-right-for-your-type There are many more web articles about D'Adamo's diet..... The first article clearly articulates why the actual diet may actually work for some people. I also wouldn't put...

http://www.skepdic.com/bloodtypediet.html http://atheism.about.com/b/2004/12/04/blood-type-diets.htm You can also find it under psuedoscience in Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Pseudoscience Again, it has no clinical trials or peer-reviewed research associated with it.

    Common Gym Myths Debunked!

Maybe the owners of the Ked's sneakers read "Born To Run." ;) They might not be amateurs at all but current on the latest fitness craze/theory. They may be thinking, "Heck, if barefoot is good enough for the Tarahumara Indians (arguably the greatest world distance runners), Keds (close to...

    23 Years of Sobriety: Reflections

A-Jock, I'm truly humbled by your words and commitment to living great. Thank you for reminding me about the value of working harder every day -- the benefits really are immeasurable. :) When times get tough (and I don't "feel like" working out) I will pull out a copy of your post.

Anyone else addicted to their iPad?

Oh yes, it's so easy to adjust and use. I'm not a techie by any stretch of the imagination and I'm not having any issues with learning how to use it. If you ever used an itouch or iphone you should have no problem at all -- even if you didn't, I think it would be fairly easy to figure out. I...

Anyone else addicted to their iPad?

This week I finally received my 3G iPad and I have to admit I'm totally addicted. It goes everywhere I go. I know so many people that say they have no use for it, but all I can say is I absolutely love it....my Kindle has now been relegated to a corner and hardly ever touched. I read all my...

    Housewives Fans...

I haven't watched RHONY from the beginning, but I have caught a few recent episodes -- wow, those women are really mean and terribly two-faced. They call each other friends and then stab each other in the back. I know most people like Bethenny but I think she's probably the worst of them because...
