Cycling shoes are flat by nature and I have really high arches, so I put an extra pair of arch supports/orthotics in mine and that works great! My shoes are Shimano and I've had them for at least 6 years. Unlike my running shoes, they never wear down!

    Loving Obagi!

Here's what the travel size 6-step kit looks like. Though it's sold out here, it gives you an idea of what's in it. I'll probably have to buy more toner - seem to be using that up the fastest - but I've seen places on the web selling some of the products at decent prices. Although .... my...

    Loving Obagi!

I only use the blender and Retin-A at night but are you using the Clear and the Exfoderm? The Clear is a bleaching cream and the Exfoderm is a smoothing cream but yowza, had some stinging at the beginning! I think the "smoothing" means smaller pores and tighter skin. I'm doing steps 1-6 as...

    Loving Obagi!

Oh yeah Latisse! Definitely trying that one. Some of the Obagi products need a prescription, I think. I'm pretty certain you can use it for wrinkles. I saw my derm at her regular clinical office then walked across the hall to the more spa-like skin care office to get the stuff. Every day...

    Loving Obagi!

Any Obagi users out there? I've been using it for 2 weeks for melasma (dark pigmentation) on my face, and not only have they lightened, but my skin is looking amazing! It's an 18-week, very aggressive treatment my dermatologist recommended - she could see how bad the pigmentation has...

    Looking for a spin bike...

There was a thread here about buying used spin bikes .... I can't remember the website. I jotted down the recommended models and kept checking Craigslist until I found one for sale. I think $350-$500 is a good range for a used spin bike, and I figured most non-Cathletes buy them and get bored...

New Wen Scents - spoiler alert

I went with the cucumber when I bought the gallon size in June (and signed up for auto-ship!) but I'm not crazy about it. My scalp doesn't get that tingling feeling when I leave it in, and to me that makes me feel like it's cleansing. I'm hoping QVC will let me change my December shipment to...

    New spin DVD

Hi Cathe, I love spin classes, and now I love spinning with you at home! I was wondering if you'd consider a different setup for your next spin DVD .... Maybe I'm the only one, but the "pack" of riders coming at me through the screen is a little distracting. :0 There are some scenes where...

Is Anyone Else Afraid to Use the Tower?

I don't have the tower, but I'm afraid to use my rubber tubing! It comes with a stop that you put over a door and close the door, and I can use it on my metal garage door, but for some reason I'm afraid to sit on the floor and pull on it .... even though it's probably impossible, I have a fear...

    Has anyone gotten eyeliner tattoo?

Ugh, I can't even imagine how much that hurt .... probably on par of when I used to get my underarms waxed .... eeee yow! I'm still not ruling it out - I would kill to have SOMETHING that looked like makeup in my eye area that doesn't make my eyes react and make me look strung out or...

What state already received their DVD's

Mine arrived yesterday in Colorado Springs .... I'm not sure if I got enough sleep last night to tackle one of them!!! My daughter couldn't help but grab the camera as I was laughing maniacally when we picked up the mail.

    Colorado Wildfires please pray!!!

Thank you for posting, Pam. My mom's neighborhood was evacuated - with little warning - last night. So scary! You are on pre-evacuation, yes? Praying for all the evacuees, the firefighters and police, for rain, cooler temps, and no wind. I am about 15 miles south, but the smell of smoke is...

    Has anyone gotten eyeliner tattoo?

I would love to hear how you like it. I have an eyelid/eyelash condition and haven't been able to wear ANY eye makeup for 2 years, which drives me crazy...! I've lost a ton of eyelashes, so I'm definitely going to try the Latisse...that would help!

    Hysterectomy and weight loss

When I had my total hyst in 2002, I was such an inactive person. I remember how they'd encourage short walks during recovery .... one day I walked 2 houses up, came home and that was about it for my activity (how do I do an eye roll here?!). About a year later, I'd had enough, cleaned up my...

    Weight Wachers

Well, it's been a few years since I've been on WW, but it used to be one point for every 100 calories burned. I wear a heart rate monitor, and I have to be working pretty hard to burn 400 calories in an hour (Imax2 or KPC, for example) which would be 4 points. I can get up to 500 with...

    Super Easy DVDs

Another vote for Leslie Sansone. Hers was my first DVD when I decided to start exercising but couldn't join a gym. My kids were 2 and 3 years old, and it was a great place to start because even if I could only fit in 15 minutes, at least I knew I had walked a mile! After a few months it...
