    Baby Esstentials..

I had the travel system for DS, and I won't be using it again for DD. I found that the stroller was really cumbersome after we were done using the carseat with it. We had an Eddie Bauer system. We now have a Quinny, and that's what we'll be using for a stroller (it has a bassinet attachment for...

    Bent over barbell rows

Oh boy, I gave up on these awhile ago due to low back issues. I usually sub out sitting on the floor with a doubled up tension band wrapped around my feet. I row that way. No belly challenges then.

    Office Etiquette

Yeah, I think I would just make the coffee "unavailable" to him when he comes looking for it. If keeping the pods in your desk would do the trick, then I would go that way. In my office, a "contribution jar" would go completely ignored. Good luck!

My posts were deleted and I was threatened to be banned from the forum!

Wow! Maybe someone on the SNM side was having a bad day! Seems to me that contstructive criticism is something that any business should crave. Maybe they were upset that you mentioned other instructors specifically - although we all do that every day out here without any thought to it. Yikes...

    Step Moves?

Hi ladies, Totally random question... Does anyone else have calf/ankle issues while doing Step Moves? I'm wondering if I'm just not wearing shoes with enough support for the workout (I normally go either barefoot or wear track shoes). It's only this workout, and every time I do it, my calves...

    Business Situation Question

It sounds to me like he was behaving like a professional gentleman. A little conservative, perhaps (depending on your line of work), but not out of line at any rate. I wouldn't worry about it or how it "looked" to anyone. From the way you describe it, no one behaved in a way that was inappropriate.

    WHY AM I GETTING BIGGER?!

Sounds about right to me. I would give it another week or two before you take action. Insanity is a super intense (as you know) workout that's new to your body. You have to let it respond as it would to any other change.

    feeling guilty

Sure! Many times! It's normal to get burned out on a type of workout, or instructor, etc... And if your body isn't responding in a way that feels good to you anymore, then it's time for a change. You should feel energized and happy after your workout, and if yoga is doing that for you right...

    Baby Bumps?

OMG Liann, I looked like that at 16 weeks! Ha! You look great! I'm trying to upload mine, but having some technical issues with the file format. I'll have to dig out the digital camera later today, I guess.

    Going to Napa! Suggestions?

Thanks everyone! We live in Chicago, and will be using our United miles to fly out there. Judging by flights yesterday, we can fly direct to SFO, but would need to connect in Denver if we went to OAK. We hate connecting, so I think we'll make the extra drive from SFO. We're interested in...

    Going to Napa! Suggestions?

Thanks for the suggestions! The cottages look beautiful. Do we fly into san Francisco? Or is there a closer airport?

HELP! Question about renter's/landlord's notice of intent to vacate???

I have to agree. Unless there's a clause in the lease specifically stating that it ends mid-month, or that should the landlord initiate the termination, pro-rating would apply, she's stuck. Again, it's not the nice, civil thing to do, but legally, your sister may not have a leg to stand on...

    Going to Napa! Suggestions?

Hi all, DH and I are heading there for a long weekend in November. We're looking for suggestions on where to stay, how to get around, etc...? I know that everything is fairly drivable, and I've heard of some kind of "booze train"? Any input you have would be appreciated! I'm a little...

HELP! Question about renter's/landlord's notice of intent to vacate???

I am certianly no lawyer, but simply going off of terminology, her lease is MONTH to MONTH, not DAY to DAY. So if she will be living there for any part of June, she is responsible for the month's rent. It's not the landlord's fault or problem that she is choosing to move early. Now, that...

questions about working out during pregnancy

I'm 26 weeks, and this is my second child. I worked out the entire duration of my first pregnancy, and haven't missed a beat this time around either. I can tell you from experience that if you maintain your fitness through your pregnancy, your recovery will be MUCH easier and much faster...

    ♥♥♥ Mommies-to-be - MAY ROLL CALL ♥♥♥

I think part of it is knowing what you're feeling, too. I also have an anterior placenta, but I'm working from experience, so I've been feeling the baby for some time now. In fact, she's kicking me so hard that it shakes the bed or chair that I'm sitting in. My son definiltely never kicked that...

    ♥♥♥ Mommies-to-be - MAY ROLL CALL ♥♥♥

Hi WW, this is our second as well. I have a 2 yo boy at home, and this one is a girl. So we'll have one of each. Then I'm officially calling it "quits"!

    ♥♥♥ Mommies-to-be - MAY ROLL CALL ♥♥♥

Hi all, Joining the check-in! I'm 25 weeks today, and they just moved up my due date to 8/11. I've got a high amount of amniotic fluid, plus this is my second, so my belly is just HUGE already. I look like I swallowed a beach ball. Liann, you're close to the point where they start checking...

    How to stop biting nails?

Hi Mercurial, I've seen your posts on the other threads about your diet concerns and emotional issues. I'd have to say that this ties directly into them. Please talk to someone. Being orally fixated is just a component of what you're dealing with. I'm not suggesting that everyone that...

    baby shower gift

I have to agree with the cash/$$ route. I have a 2yo boy and one on the way. I have all of the "stuff" you could ever need and then some. What I appreciate more than anything at this point are things like savings bonds and gift cards for college or stuff I'm going to need in the coming months...
