    Abercrombie and Fitch Jeans?

I have found that A&F and AE both run more truer to size than say Hollister. Hollister, to me, is really for the pre-teen/teenage girl that does not have the waist to hip difference many women have. However, I don't think their clothing is as forgiving/roomy as many of the department store's...

    Oscar Dress's

I LOVED Demi Moore's dress. It took me a minute to recognize her. She looks soooo young. I imagine it is either a plastic surgeons steady hand of having a younger man. Either way, she looks GREAT! I actually like Charlize Theron's dress...just not the flowers on her boobs. Of course, my...

I am going to go with Liann givine ME a shout-out and not another Carrie (can the board really stand TWO Carrie's??!!). Liann - was it a big shock to go from blonde to brown hair? I have colored my hair since I was 17 or so (blonde). I decided to make it easier on myself and went just a...

    TAXES!!! Ugh!!

Just looking at the 2011 proposed budget gives me pause. For example, I would like to know what the $2.58 BILLION titled "other discretionary programs" in national defense is. How much good could be done with 2.58 BILLION DOLLARS??!! Carrie

Any sugg. to get 5yr old boy to not wear pull-up at pm?

Two good suggestions I see above are the plastic mattress cover and waking him up to go. I did both with my son. From what I understand, it just takes longer in general for boys to be potty trained. Another thought is to use "wee pads" they sell for dogs (on top of plastic mattress cover)...

    Workouts with squat-thrust cardio drills?

Even worse Beavs, when my DD was younger, she called "boobies" "burpees." I had quite a laugh when I first heard a workout instructor calling squat thrusts burpees! Carrie

Since when has demanding respect become taboo?

Respect is such a strange thing, isn't it? When I was in the Air Force, we had to show respect to our senior leaders whether they deserved/earned it or not. In my job before this, there was absolutely no "us vs. them" or seniority readily noticeable. In my current job, it is TERRIBLE! The...

What Cathe w/o do you use your vibram five fingers for?

Tricia - that makes sense. With most types of shoes, even tennis shoes, your feet aren't completely flat like they are either while barefoot or wearing the VFF. I am LONGING to order a pair! Carrie ETA: So, I was finally going to break down and order a pair but they are out of stock :-(!

Dog Pulling While TRYING to Go For Walk

Janie's thread got me thinking. My 2 year-old mutt, Sandy, has the opposite problem. She pulls pretty much the entire walk. She is pulling me out of the house, down the stairs, down the drive...well, you get the picture! I have watched The Dog Whisperer and it seems most of the dogs I see on...
