Abercrombie and Fitch Jeans?

I wanted to order a pair of jeans online but I was wondering what the sizing was like? Are the jeans good quality? What about sizing? Big or small? Its hard to know when ordering online and I usually hate returning things so unless I really hate them...I will keep them.
Normally I wear low jeans, boot cut and I would either take a 2 or a 27. My Guess jeans I bought the other day were size 27 and the American Eagle jeans I buy are size 2's.

Thanks!!!
Lori:)

A&F jeans are sized for juniors, so they're small. Not sure what you're body is like, but if you're curvy in any way, they tend to not be very forgiving.

The quality is OK. I wore them when I was younger, and I found that they would stretch out quickly and not regain their shape. JMO.

ITA with Melissa - pretty much everything at A&F runs SMALL and favors the teen "build". I could never do the pants there. I always liked the tops though but that was a long time ago. I haven't shopped at an A&F since college, which I am sad to admit was a good 10+ years ago. Oy...

P.s. Please no one think I was taking a swipe at people with the teen build comment! I thought better of that later. I just meant it didn't work if you were more curvy in the hips etc... I should have said "slender" or "petite" build instead! ;)

Gidget-

I have 3 pairs of them and I love them. I'm 5'2 so the jeans are very long for me I just have them hemmed at the cleaners. I wear mine all the time can't now though because I'm preggers. But I'm ususally a size 4 in all my jeans and for some reason rings true with A&F and also Amercian Eagle. The qualilty is great they are a bit pricey but really good jeans. I like some of the shirts but they are too expensive. I dont mind spending the money on a good pair of jeans but shirts on the other hand maybe not. I wouldnt buy them on line though but thats me I like to try on all my clothes when I buy them....

Take care.

I have found that A&F and AE both run more truer to size than say Hollister. Hollister, to me, is really for the pre-teen/teenage girl that does not have the waist to hip difference many women have. However, I don't think their clothing is as forgiving/roomy as many of the department store's lines. I imagine you aren't in an area to try them on...or are like me and don't feel like it! You can take things ordered online back to the store, which is nice.
