    Step Moves.....I have a sickness

OK, so I just had to add to this thread (even though I posted to it back in January), because I am doing the Strong & Sweaty 30-day rotation, and today's workout was Ramped Up Upper Body. My family was gone, and I had the luxury of adding a second workout, but I have Cardio Slam tomorrow, so...

    Finally conquered PRS#1 premix

I love both of the PRS routines! PRS 2 is more athletic and physically demanding, while PRS 1 is more intricate and mentally demanding, but both are great in their own way, and the premixes that combine them are so fun. I will never forget that the first time I tried PRS 1, I ended up with...

    Loving the older workouts

I do love Body Max 2 and Drill Max, and have also recently purchased Boot Camp + Muscle Endurance, but haven't had a chance to do it yet because I am doing the Strong & Sweaty rotation. (I know, probably the last to do S&S, but I like to start every year with the 90-day X Train rotation, so I am...

    Cardio Series

I am very glad to see someone who enjoys step, because it is still my favorite too! I really like the new Cardio Slam from S&S and all of the cardio workouts in ICE and X Train, but step routines are so fun and mentally challenging as well. Today after completing S&S PHA I popped in PR2 and did...

What is your fave Weight lifting videos

I am doing Strong and Sweaty now, and enjoy it. My thing with weight lifting is the variety and changing things up. I have all of the weight lifting workouts people mentioned previously (except STS), and enjoy them all. I also enjoy the older workouts like Power Hour and Maximum Intensity...

Any runners incorporating To The Mat floor workouts?

Thanks all! I am going to try all your suggestions. :-)

Any runners incorporating To The Mat floor workouts?

Thanks Clare! I appreciate the encouragement. For some reason, the hip exercises are always tough for me, so knowing they might help me return to running may encourage me to stick with them. I don't have STS, but I just finished X Train (so nice to know the difficult Legs workout is good for...

Any runners incorporating To The Mat floor workouts?

I was a long time runner from my 20s to my mid 40s until I was beset by Achilles and hip issues. I gave up running for a few years (concentrating on Cathe workouts and strength training) and my injuries healed. Since then, I have committed to doing 1 tough 5k (very hilly and up a canyon) and 1...

    Cathe on FitFluential Radio Show

I want to say thank you for this too! I also really enjoyed this interview and have listened to it a couple of times. :-)

Just for fun! What is your favorite Cathe Series (or favorites)

I must go with X Train first, ICE second, and LIS third. I like RWH for a challenge and to test myself, but I am not fit enough to really love it. I am sorry to say I haven't spent enough time with Strong and Sweaty to make a judgment. But the music for X Train is the best, and I love that Al...

Which Cathe workouts are considered "metabolic training"?

I do love To The Max and Crossfire, so thanks for bringing those up, and how did I overlook Metabolic Total Body? I love the whole ICE series so much. :-)

Which Cathe workouts are considered "metabolic training"?

For sure, Flex Train and X Train Super Cuts are metabolic. I also think Afterburn and Athletic Training from the Low Impact Series qualify, but they have a stronger emphasis on cardio. I would also consider X Train's Chest, Back, and Shoulders and Bis and Tris (not the Burn Sets workouts) would...

    Step Moves.....I have a sickness

I like Step Moves a lot too! So flowy at the end when you are following your hand around. [emoji1]

    Marathon Training

My vote definitely goes to the Scrambled Eggs premix from Body Max 2! That is what I use to prepare for 10ks and it is 80 minutes of cardio joy. Another option is Cardio Fusion. Best of luck!

    Love ICE Bootcamp

I think you will enjoy all of the ICE videos, and I too enjoy the ICE Boot Camp video. We can't have every single workout kill us...sometimes we should just have some fun!

Am I the only one who watches the introductions over and over?

I was just curious if anyone else watches the short introductions that Cathe used to include on her workouts, but did not provide for ICE and SANDS. Even in the cases in which I have had the workouts for many years and done them many times, I almost always play the introduction while I set up...

    More Step Workouts!

I love step too! And I am not so worried about minimizing the jumping/turning, because it seems that Cathe frequently gives a low-impact/low-intensity move before adding the more advanced option. I know that I have only one time done the "big spin" in Low Max because I was just fine with the...

    Foam Roller Workout

Yes, I too think this is an interesting suggestion. My son is a cross country runner in high school, and they strongly believe in foam rollers, but I am not really sure what to do and how to use them. I would love to have some guidance from an expert.

    PHA+Bonus Abs

I'm 5'6" too, and also feel like going heavier would be too much on my forearms, so nice to hear someone in the same frame of mind. I am so amazed by how many ladies can lift with Cathe and the crew, but I am not there yet. I think I will try an extra riser first (then maybe I will feel less...

    PHA+Bonus Abs

Unusually for me, I was fine with the legs and weights usedm for lower body, and was able to match Cathe in upper body weights except for Overhead Press, Bicep Curls, and Tricep extensions. I am considering going to 4 risers for the leg portions, or heavier on the weights. Anyone else feeling...
