    Lovin' Lite!!!

I love the background too, and keep meaning to compare it to To The Max and Crossfire. They are so similar. :-)

    Series for beginners.

I appreciate your perspective too, but more curious about what workouts you are referring to? I just started the 30-day rotation today, so have only done the Cardio Party. I did it wearing weighted gloves, and admittedly did a bit more high-impact moves than she showed, plus the Cardio Crush (on...

    Cardio party

Thanks for this review! I did this one this morning (decided to follow the 30-day rotation), and it was so fun! I was worried when I saw the preview that it might not get my heart rate up, but I wore my 1-lb weighted gloves and did just fine. I did the premix with the Calorie Crush (on 2...

Video Clip from Cathe's LITE Pyramid Pump Bonus Workout

I enjoy the muscle meltdowns, and recently tacked them on to the end of cardio work on back-to-back days. So day 1, I did back, chest, and shoulders after a cardio. The next day, I did biceps and triceps after a different cardio. They are fun and challenging. I don't mind swapping out the DVDs.

Body Max 2 missing from Workout Manager?

For some reason today I am unable to find Body Max 2 in the drop down list under DVD. I see the Body Max 2 Bonus Cardio, but not the main workout. I am sure I've selected it in the past. for now, I will select Body Max as today's workout.

Cathe Friedrich's LITE PHA 2 Workout

I don't normally comment too much on fitness fashion, but those red tights are amazing! (Or it could just be the way they look on Cathe...) ;)

Video Clip From Cathe's LITE Strong Body Stacked Sets Upper Body

I went back and took a second look at the video after reading your comment, and think you are so right! Biceps and shoulders tend to be the two areas I am furthest from Cathe weights, so hopefully this will help me catch up. :-)

Video Clip From Cathe's LITE Strong Body Stacked Sets Upper Body

I love the background too...reminds me of To The Max and Crossfire. Peaceful nature scenes; just lovely.

Video Clip From LITE Cardio Party

Yes, I agree that the music has the fun factor, and I like the idea of having a lower-intensity option (in addition to the ICE workouts). Currently for those days when I am sore or lacking in energy but still need my Cathe fix, I will opt for Step Moves or Low Max all-step premix (45 minutes, no...

    Backdrops to LITE?

Still thinking out loud...what about the San Francisco Bay? It has some gorgeous scenery and could include the Golden Gate Bridge or the Bay Bridge and the water and the city and the ball park... Or even San Diego with sail boats and Coronado Island... So many possibilities.

    Backdrops to LITE?

I haven't really thought much about the backdrops until this thread popped up, but since then have been thinking about them. Overall, I have to say my favorite is the one used in High Reps and Lower Body Blast, because I love the ocean, Diamond Head, and the high rises, and especially like when...

Cathe Step dvd that has a hitch kick

There is a hitch kick in Higher Intensity Step from the 4 Day Split series too. That particular segment was tough for me to conquer initially, but it is true what Cathe says "Once you get it down, it's so much fun."

Every time you show up you get a bit better...right?

I second all the words of support you've received here. I used to have such a hard time getting through Cathe's Basic Step video, and look how far I've come! We just need to keep coming back and even if we don't improve, we will be better than if we didn't try!

    Lite Music

Yes, I concur (although I wish Great Glutes included the vocals...anything to distract me from all those hydrants and pizza presses!). I feel the same about the X Train series as well. Very upbeat and happy feeling. I enjoy the Strong and Sweaty series, but sometimes I feel a bit like the music...

    Count Down to LITE

This is an interesting idea! I might join you when I finish my combined rotation of LIS/X Train. Do you have the full listing of the series you will be doing? I have Cross Train Express and should go back to it. And most of Body Blast and Hard Core too...

Question: Can you lift as much as Cathe?

This is an interesting post, and a question I often ponder as well. I usually lift the same as Cathe on the legs and back, but she leaves me in the dust on all other body parts. I think I am finally getting a bit closer on the biceps, but will never get there on chest and triceps. (Shoulders are...

Did you buy the LITE digital downloads or the DVD's?

This is the main point for me as well. We do not have a wired internet connection, and even though we rarely have connectivity issues, I want to be able to workout regardless of our internet availability.

    Metabolic Workouts DVD List

Not sure about the difference between metabolic and endurance workouts is, but I put High Reps in the same general type of workout: my heart rate stays elevated throughout while challenging my muscles with lighter weights. Also, I really enjoy that disc section. So fun!

    Step Jam!!

I like to go back to the older workouts also. Reminds me of the days when I wore the thong leotards and had a much slimmer outline than I do today! And even though the body has changed, the fun remains the same.

    ICE 2...Who's In?

Since there is such divided opinions on step, I was wondering if a new version of Cardio & Weights/Low Impact Circuit might be an acceptable compromise? So some fun (but not too complex combos) followed by compound exercise followed by a weighted body part, then lather, rinse, repeat. I just...
