    feel fit wear distracting

I am also a capris lover!!! But I will be honest, when I workout in my basement, I rarely care what I have on, as long as it is comfortable and doesn't get in the way of my workouts. However, I am also a trainer and fitness instructor, so I like to wear cute outfits when I teach. With that...

    Who Likes Obstacle Courses?

I just did my first one a couple of weeks ago. It was the Muck Ruckus for MS. It was a blast, 6 miles long...I wished it was longer. As much as I love running in races...this was definitely a more enjoyable experience. Looking forward to doing many more. I would like to try longer ones...

    Thighs and Butt

What kind of Leg strength workouts do you do? You might want to stick with higher reps and lower weights for your lower body. Also Turbo barre is a great workout that targets more of the smaller muscles of the legs that support the larger muscles. Cardio is also important if you are trying to...

Can I achieve results with this plan?

No worries about your runs being effected, I only run 2 days a week and I have gotten faster by adding STS, plyo...and most of Cathe's workouts to my routine. I like to have a rest day once a week...it's really helps my muscles recover and my legs from the running and plyo. Good luck!

Cross Train Xpress - what are your thoughts?

Totally worth buying. I sometimes just do the cardio portion of Step Intervals or All Step. They kind of remind me of the step portion in Intensity, not as hard, but you definitely get a nice burn. Leaner Legs is by far one of Cathe's hardest leg workouts...it's short, but very intense. Love...

    Thank you, Cathe!!!

Do you happen to know what she is currently doing? I have done marathons in the past, so I have always had the endurance, it's really the speed that I try to focus now that I no longer do marathons but focus on half marathons, 10 milers and even 5Ks. I like to mix up my runs a lot...keep the...

Have a great weekend, Cathe!!! You are killing me with these tiny little tidbits about your new workouts...I am just so excited for these, but I will patiently wait and continue to let STS fry every little part of my body!!

    Ab workouts

Pyramid upper body has the hardest ab workout, and circuit stability abs is hard too. Boot camp abs only is fabulous!!! The DVds that has variety is Coremax and Abs Circuit. My favorites from other DVDs are: High reps STS total body Athletic training Kick punch crunch Turbo barre

    Hardcore Extteme ?

They absolutely live up to their name. I love these workouts!! They are long, but you will feel awesome when you are done! I live circuits, and the one on this DVD is great. My favorite one is the intervals with the leg conditioning.

    Hoping for another spin DVD!

This cracks me up...mainly because I think this holds true for any first timer of a Cathe video. You try one and you crave more of her workouts!!! I like the idea of adding abs at the end of a Spin workout.

New 10 mile PR, Thanks to Cathe and Coach Sean!

Good luck this weekend!!! Cathe workouts are hard, but they get easier (still hard...ha ha). I love variety too, running too much will cause overuse/injury...need to work laterally too and that gets neglected when you only run. Have fun at the half. I am doing a half in September.

New 10 mile PR, Thanks to Cathe and Coach Sean!

Wow, you guys are awesome! Thanks for your kind words. And for those interested in what I have been doing, here's a general breakdown: For strength, I typically follow a 3 day split, so right now I've been doing STS, but also have one other weighted workouts like Gymstyle, S&H, etc. I always...

Just a quick note to thank you. I ran the Broad Street Run yesterday and beat my best time. I ran 2 times a week for training, and the rest was all you!!!! Your strength and cardio workouts are the best training tools for me. Thanks for being the "best trainer" and proving that I can get...

New 10 mile PR, Thanks to Cathe and Coach Sean!

Yesterday I participated in my favorite race, the Broad Street Run, in Philly. I have done this race since 96, even twice when I was pregnant. Anyway, I have held tight at a 66 minutes personal record for a couple of years, and as soon as I added heavy weights with Cathe's DVD and her cardio...
