Have you ever been told you like a celebrity??

Jodi Foster and Michelle Pfeiffer. I think the people who said it were all drunk at some party or another though! I think I have a Barbara Streisand nose... anyways, sure wish I was that famous.. Lynn

Have you ever sung at a karyokee bar?

I grew up singing and still love it! The last time I did Karoke was about a year ago with my daughter who is 20 and her 2 friends. My daugher and I sang Reba's song "Does She Love You". We had a blast. It's fun to let loose now and then, and music is healing to the soul. Wish I could quit my...

    Pre-op training

Hey Marg! I'm an RN, so of course will tell you to listen to your Dr. about when to resume exercise. For now I'd say do as you feel you should, and eat healthy. Remember we do have "muscle memory", so you may have to take a few weeks off, but you should be able to come back rather quickly...

most romantic song of all time...

Michael Bolton "Said I loved you but I lied"... this is a song that's moved me to tears more than once. Sade - her whole Cd "Lovers Rock" is so sexy and intimate for lovers. Lynn

most romantic song of all time...

Diane, This is DH and my first song ever. We always dance to it. When it comes on it's like the whole world freezes and it's just he and I mingling, touching, loving, together... no one else there. Love to hear that unchained melody... Lynn

    Who was your childhood crush?

I remember sitting at the top of the stairs and listening to Elvis movies as a little girl. My sister and I loved Elvis... Davey from the Monkey was another of our favorites. John Travolta, then and still now... Then there's still Clark Lawson who sat beside me in fifth grade... I hear...

    learning choreography?

I just read the previous reply about you and motorcycling. Just wanted to say it's so good to see other female cylists out there. I had been a passenger for a long time and bought my own Harley this year when I turned 40 in June. I have a 1200 xl Sportster anniversary edition, but we also own...

    learning choreography?

When I first learned of Cathe I'd been doing the Firm for a long time - hence no real stepping or choreography. I thought I couldn't do step because I'm a klutz. The first tape I got, with everyone's advice here, was Step Heat and I learned it little by little. Once I conquered that I bought...

    OH MY GOSH!

I always say if I could lose my keg I know there's a six pack underneath... LOL! I am beginning to see some of my old biceps coming throught that fat, again, and it's a welcome sight... I know what you mean girl! Keep up the great work! Lynn

    Has anybody tried...

I have this workout and really like it. I have a lot of older Janis Saffell VHS also. Don't get to do them much anymore as I only have a DVD player in my living room, now, but I really like Janis. She's the only other Kickboxing instructor I have, besides Cathe. I think you would enjoy this...

    MIC

I've recently gotten serious about eating better and losing weight, so forced myself to reach for the longer, harder,Cathe workouts which I did when I successfully lost weight. Man, oh, man, MIC was so hard for me last week but I totally agree with you about the music and the moves. I'm sure my...

    Another Question for Nurses

Hi! I'm an Associate Degree RN (my husband is also). I have been out of school for 8 years, he has been out for 2. I have worked in Dialysis, Interventional Radiology, and ICU/CCU. Currently I work in CCU and do open heart recovery. My husband has worked med/surg (as an LVN) IMU/Tele, and as...

What is the most spontaneous thing you've ever done??

I've done too many spontaneous things that got me in trouble in the long run... one of which was to quit nursing school half way through and move across the country with a married personal trainer, who was training me... it was a passionate, crazy time - lasted six months, then I packed it up...

Are we just a bunch of complainers?

As someone who has suffered from depression in the past, I can sympathize with just about anyone. As a nurse I can sympathize with just about anyone (that's our nature). But, to quote my own self to my teenagers "Every second, every minute, every day we have here on earth alive is one to be...

    ATTENTION all TEXAS gals!!!

I like Steak but love Seafood. Tex-Mex is okay, but not too flexible for those of us trying to consistently lose lbs, and I am one. I love the idea of getting a Cathe team on Fear Factor. That would be really awesome!! I talked to my DH tonight and he said he'd probably come up with me and...

    navel piercing

I agree with the others here about using the AB Dial soap when showering. I got mine done with two of my friends. I still have mine, but both of them had problems with infection, soreness and took theirs out. I couldn't lay on my stomach to sleep or on my ball to exercise for several weeks. My...

    ATTENTION all TEXAS gals!!!

Hi! I emailed Nadine that I'm interested in getting away together, too. I live in Conroe, 30 minutes north of Houston. Any weekend if okay with me. We submit our work schedule a month ahead so if the date is set by then, I can schedule around it. I've been doing Cathe workouts for 3 years...
