    Contrast training for Legs

I love contrast training for legs, too. I used the workout blender to make a hybrid of RWH Lift it Hit it Legs and ICE Chiseled Lower Body Blast since RWH by itself is more than I want to do these days. I was doing it the other day and realized I could make another version using Lower Body Pump...

    Mom Jeans!

All the reasons listed above are why I love dresses. ;-) I rarely find any pants that fit well and look good, so I opt for dresses and skirts when I have to leave the house. Which is rare these days, of course.

    Cathe's new tubings

I had the blue band that Cathe used in the XTrain series. I broke it, so I replaced with the blue band she sells now. The new one is slightly easier than the old one, but I'm not as strong as I was when I had the original one, so it's perfect for me. I've used it with the Perfect 30 work outs...

    Question about Pure Strength workouts

I don't remember seeing modifications for people without a barbell, but I don't have one and just figured it out as I went. You'll be fine! That's a great series. I should revisit it, too. Thanks for the reminder!

    walking/long standing hours sandal recommendation

Keen Whisper sandals. They just work really well for my feet. I also like Taos footwear, but Keen still wins for overall comfort/doesn't make my plantar fasciitis flare up.

Workout Blender work outs not updating on Roku

I've created/edited several works out in the Workout Blender. But they're not showing up in the app through my Roku on in the app on my iPhone. Is there a setting or something I need to change in order to trigger the updates? Thanks. Anne

    Cardio & Weights dvd

That's one of my all-time favorite step routines. I just love that one! It's the one I pull out when I don't feel like exercising. I'm in Michigan, too--we have winter already! I might get to go skiing this weekend. Yay!

    Flexibility

I lost a lot of flexibility and mobility after I had a total hip replacement about 18 months ago. I'm finally back to a regular routine and the thing that helped me the most was stretching for 10-15 minutes after every work out; rather than 3-5 minutes. It's made a huge difference for me. It...

    Coming back

Welcome back. Other posters have given you solid advice. I also highly recommend the LITE series. Somehow those work outs just make me happy. I'm trying to get back to pre-surgery fitness after a total hip replacement. It's been a long, slow process for me. But one of the things I try to...

FTA Legs, Glutes, & Core Premix error on OnDemand

Hi, I signed up for OnDemand recently and I am just loving it! However, I found a small error today. I did Basic Premix #1 from Fit Tower Advanced Legs, Glutes, and Core, "Legs and Glutes with Bonus Abs: Replaces All Core Exercises with Bonus Abs." Chapter 6 of the Bonus Abs (Elbow to Knew...

how to eat veggies? (from a potato-lover)

Another easy way to get lots of veggies is to make soups or stews. I make large batches and keep or freeze them. Chicken tortilla soup, fresh pea soup (an Ina Garten recipe that is super easy), beef stew, African pineapple peanut stew (from the Moosewood Cooks at Home cookbook), Ethiopian...

    Thunder Thighs

I am trying to get back in shape after a total hip replacement. Needless to say, I have a long way to go. ;-) But, heavy weights aren't working for me for lower body, so I'm only doing non-weighted exercises. I've been doing Fit Tower work outs, TurboBarre, To the Mat from ICE and I got OnDemand...

    Power Max

Power Max was my very first Cathe DVD back when it was new. It made fall in love with step and exercise in general. I need to pull it out again! Thanks for the reminder!

Logging OnDemand and Live work outs

I finally got OnDemand and Live. And I love them! But I'm wondering how to log those work outs in the Workout Manager. Is there a way to do it other than creating the work out? It's so easy to log a DVD, I'm just wondering if anyone knows a quick and easy way to log streaming work outs, too...
