I was shocked when I got home last night and my DVDs had arrived. I was so happy!! I did High Reps this morning, loved it. Also did the low impact HIIT section from Intensity. I am off work tomorrow through the end of the week so will have more time to try out all of the new workouts.
I would like to see recommendations to integrate the STS cardio with the STS strength series ASAP also...because I'm wanting to start next Monday! It does seem logical that the intensity of the cardio would change with each phase. I've only tried the Boxing workout so far though...which didn't...
I think there is a 'trip' feature where you can set it when you start a specific workout and turn it off when you're done so that you know the specific calories you've burned....have you tried that Cynthia? guess I'm going to have to pull my book out again to see how to do it...
That is interesting Cynthia the comparison between the online calculations and what your bodybugg calculated for calorie burn. I do feel the bodybugg is a much more accurate way to keep track. And I agree with you that having the digital watch keeps me motivated through the day. So far I've...
Oh wow, how cool you have one too Cynthia! Yes...VERY eye opening experience for me too. I like having the digital display wrist unit because like you said it motivates me to stay more active to increase my calorie burn! My highest calorie burn has been around 2400-2500 calories but that is...
Interesting thread! Actually I started using a Bodybugg the same time I started STS (I also go to the 24 hour fitness gym where they sell them) which is a device you wear that tracks your calorie burn and you log all your calorie intake into their web site. It has been very enlightening...as I...

Good morning
Hi All,
I decided to switch up the rotation a bit to add more lower body each week because I'm really wanting to lean that part of my body out. So I did the first Plyo Legs routine....WHOA WOWSA!! LOVE that type of workout!!! Ouch! I have been sore this week...my shoulders...
STS Freestyle Rotation Mesocycle 2
Hi Jen,
Okay I sent you an invite to be my workout buddy...I think it shows up on your profile page somehow.
Here's what I came up with for Mesocycle 2:
The idea I had with the cardio bursts on Tues/Thurs along with the upper body workouts was to boost...
STS Freestyle Rotation
You're welcome Jen. I'm going to do it too...so we should definitely keep in touch and compare our results!! Yes, that is a great idea to take measurements of those critical areas where we'd like to lose...so I'll do that tomorrow morning too...for me it's lower abs...
STS Freestyle Rotation Mesocycle 1
Hi Jen,
I've been giving this some thought and have come up with a rotation that I'm going to start immediately...to see what results I get. I based it on Cathe's STS with cardio recommendations, but shuffled things around in order to add more lower body...
STS Check In Disc One
Thanks Belinda...that really does help a lot to know that using a squat rack with a bar across it is stable and works well for pull-ups! Now....I just have to get the squat rack ordered real quick here :-)
Cheryl
Freestyle training and STS
Hi Jen,
I've been thinking about how to incorporate this myself because I'd really like to lean down my lower body....in the last year or so it seems that things are wanting to 'stick' (I'm 46). I've used the method quite a lot in the past with great...
