    LMR2E Elevated Total Body

I did Total Body tonight for the 1st time. I really liked the compound, metabolic exercises, the workout moved fast and had lots of variety. It is a nice change from strength total body workouts which are rep heavy and I felt it hit every body part. I finished with No Equipment Abs from Ab...

    Low Impact Cardio Fusion

I did this tonight combined with the Flexibility/Core workout. I think I’ll lose the marker now that I’ve run through it and maybe pull out a step for the final round. It is a nice compact cardio workout…perfect to mix with one of the others full or premix. I felt good after the combo I did.

    Low Impact Cardio Fusion

I am glad you mentioned the DVD quality because I too fiddled with my equipment, which is ancient (a 32” non-smart flatscreen that’s probably 20 years old). I have to admit, it’s kind of disappointing. I was thinking of replacing it…but it still works fine for all the other DVD’s I have. I’m 71...

    LMR Elevated Upper Body

I agree, there are lots of options but skipping shoulder work on this particular workout would be hard since many of the exercises are compound. So also goes the option to lighten the weight for the shoulder moves..yes, it’s easy on the one where one arm is bi and the other shoulder but other...

    LMR Elevated Upper Body

I just received my DVDs Tuesday and did this upper body this afternoon. While it is innovative, I agree it is shoulder intensive, IMO to the detriment of a full upper body workout. I’d give it a 3.5 of 5 for that overemphasis. I would’ve have preferred a more balanced workout.

    Revisit

Thanks for the ideas! When I saw quite a few people on this thread say they like DVDs, I thought I’d try here first.

    Revisit

Hey Cathe DVD lovers, I’ve got quite a few that I haven’t used in years. I tried to solicit interest in the open forum and got no bites. No charge for the DVDs, just shipping. Off the top of my head…Drill Max, To The Max, Crossfire, X10, Ripped With HITT, HITT, High Step, Circuit Blast, Cardio...

    DVD Users

The first CATHE workouts I purchased were VHS tapes...I even had the wedding one! Those tapes are long gone but since then I've bought most every DVD offered and so CATHE has been my workout inspiration for a very long time. In short, I'm pushing 70 and there are some DVDs that are a bit too...

    Chair Yoga

I agree, very much like the chair stretch in the Step Boss series. I like all the other recovery workouts better, but it’s good that there’s something for everyone.

    STS 2.0 Supersets!!!! Loved it!!!!

I hope no confession is needed. My heaviest set of dumbbells is also 20 lbs and I used 10's, 12's and 15's for my first go at Giant Sets. I too added a couple of reps here and there while still staying slow and found the workout challenging if not super hard. Maybe I'll get to those 20's, maybe...

STS 2.0 Total Body Giant Sets

I just got my set today and so of course I had to do a new workout. I enjoyed the Giant Sets workout and even though I can’t lift the kind of weight Cathe and her crew use, I did heavy up for me. The slow reps really get you good and it’s not dull despite the repetition. The middle unilateral...

    Great customer service!

I was totally and pleasantly surprised to receive the new LITE series yesterday, so soon after ordering and on my birthday! I enjoyed the Body Weight and Bands workout--working through tennis elbow issues and I think it actually helped. Of course, I'm looking forward to the rest of the...

    True blasts from the past

I purchased new A/V equipment recently and said good riddance to the old VCR. I have oodles of VCR workout tapes -- many Cathe, but others as well. Funny, but I was tiring of the hundreds of more recent DVDs I own and just did many of these old routines before I ditched the VCR. Some of...

    Hysterectomy and weight gain

I had a total hysterectomy when I was not quite 32. My incision was vertical and there was quite a bit of swelling that took a few weeks to pass (big shirts were in style then too, thankfully). I couldn't take estrogen for 2 years, but have taken it ever since, though I am diminishing the...

    butts and guts

No disrespect to you folks who love this workout...I did it this weekend after a long hiatus and I found it ridiculously repetitive. I do love the two ab routines, which will likely keep me from selling the DVD. I do think that there are other lower body DVD's of Cathe's that have a bit more...
