Getting it done for March 2015

Hi ladies,

Workouts are done :) I have to shower than get ready for my doc appointment.

Sara - you always can do a shorter Cathe premix :) Or go for a walk (indoors or outdoors). I just ordered 21 Day Fix, all workouts are 30 min.

Belinda, I had a "duh" moment this morning when I thought of that too. I haven't been using premixes until the last year, or so, so they're still not a "go to" option, but I'm using them a lot more now. Thanks!

Hope your doctor's appt, went well. Nothing too serious hopefully. Take care.

Yesterday was a rest day - hung out with the family for the evening.

Today is also a rest day - will be giving blood shortly. DS was going with me, but that all changed when he got sick.

Next week I'll start M2 - still 2 days/week for leg work, as that is helping my running, which I'm doing for the cardio.

Belinda - Can't wait to hear your results with the 21DF rotation. Will you immediately follow it with the extreme rotation?

Sara - Oh my, I would think that keeping up with the kiddos would keep you moving quite a bit. I sit all day, so I try to get up and move around a lot. I think I'll start climbing stairs for breaks rather than just moving around on the same level.

Sorry for not checkin in yesterday. My kids are here for the weekend. Alesia left yesterday with her boyfriend, my son and his fiancé are still here. I did do 21 DF Dirty 30 and lots of walking.
Last night we went to the Casino in town. I won a $150 on the 1 cent slot machine :p

Today I will do 21 Day Fix Yoga and a walk.

Sara - I love using the premixes, lots to chose from. Good job on your workout.

Sherry - I am starting week 3 of the 21 Day Fix rotation on Monday. Not sure, if we add a few more weeks than jump in the 21DF Extreme? My set should be here by Monday?

Heidi - have a wonderful weekend and workout.

Today's plan was an easy 2 mile run to finish off my recovery week. However, I didn't like where my heart rate was, so I stopped after only 1 mile. I might still be a bit dehydrated after giving blood yesterday, so I'll keep the fluids up and maybe try again later if time works out. Plans for the day a bit up in the air. DS actually a bit worse, so DH with him at the clinic now. We should be taking him back to school later, but want to be sure he's on the path to recovery. In the meantime, I'm trying to get his laundry done with ours, and the other around the house stuff.

Belinda - Nice win on the slots! 1 cent is about my speed - not a big gambler. I'm sure it was also a nice visit with your kids. Good job starting week 3 of 21DF. How close are you sticking to the food plan? Excitement - the new set will be there!

I will do 21 Day Fix TB Cardio Fix and SBF LB today.

Sherry - glad you listen to your body. Hope you drank lots of water. I still can't believe I won on the 1 c slot :D I am not sticking to the 21DF eating plan, my set should arrive today. Starting the food plan today. We shall see!

Heidi and Sara - hope you had a wonderful weekend. I sure did!

Hello to you all!

I just can't seem to get back in the swing of working out consistently. Missed 4 days in a row due to work and life issues.

I went out yesterday with my Mom for her 72nd BD. We had a good time but I was just too wiped out after to do anything.

I hope to get something in tomorrow morning. Just have to not open my business emails before starting! I get so caught up in business
stuff that the morning is gone and I have to rush to work for the rest of the day. Nights for workouts just don't workout either. :/
Just too darn busy and stressed these days.

Keep up the good work with your programs and eating good. :)

Good job on your run and taking it easy when your HR jumped up too high. Better to be safe then sorry!

Sara, That is a great option to do the premixes instead of the long workout versions. :) I should be doing this also! Just can't get my butt moving in the morning.... :/

Had a busy, but fun weekend. Went on an 11 mile walk/hike with my DS to a light house on a 5 mile peninsula. It was a great adventure that was an all day affair when we consider travel time. It was great to spend the day with my son, it doesn't happen too often. Yesterday was a rest day, which I really needed.
Today I'm back in action with Plyo 2 + Hiit 40/20 + abs 1 and maybe I'll sneak another X10 in. This evening I'll run or ride for 25-30 mins for a double.
Felt like I really worked last week, on diet and exercise, and only lost 1/2 a pound. Man at that rate, I'll be back to where I want to be just in time for the holiday fight again. ugh.

Heidi - it'll come back. Sometimes it's harder to get in a routine when we have a lot of other things going on + daylight saving time makes adjusting harder too.

Sherry - I agree that you have to listen to your body no matter what your wo plan is. Some days it's just not there.

Belinda - thanks for always being a great resource for awesome ideas - good job on finishing your rotation.

Hope everyone's week started off with a bang - Dr. Suess week at school for me- today is crazy hat day - I'm wearing a flower with a bee flying around! fun!

Heidi - happy Birthday to your mom! I agree, with Sara :) Don't be so hard on yourself. You are getting some great workouts in lately.

Losing 1/2# a week is actually safer then more. Then again our bodies can change from day to day. Keep up the good work and it will pay off.

Belinda: How was your workout? Love the sound of that program too. ;)
I will get back to a regular routine soon. Just need to get motivated early in the mornings and not do paperwork first. It takes up my time too fast.

Hi everyone!

Yesterday - rest day. Didn't take DS back to school until afternoon 'cause he wasn't feeling well. Missed a couple classes but made it for the last one. Anyway, work plus driving him messed up my time.

Today - starting M2! Legs - D14 done. Walking funny - lot 'o glute work!

Heidi - Yay! You're back with it!

Belinda - Oh, so exciting - new toys to sweat with! How is the eating plan different for Extreme?

Sara - Great hike with your DS. Enjoy your Dr. Seuss week - that' sounds fun.

Heidi - I really like those workouts. I am a sweaty mess afterwards. They are tough :) Fantastic job on RWH LOW IMPACT #2 AND ABS #2 and bonus workouts :)

Sherry - Oh no! Hope your son feels better soon. Have fun with D14 today. From what I read on VF, it's more strict than the original 21 DF eating plan. Like no cheat day's. I really like the little containers, I am not hungry. And with the App it makes it easy to track how many containers I still have left :)

Sara - nice job on that hike. The weather was perfect. I agree, losing weight slowly is better.

Today is RWH Upper body circuit. I'll add in an X10 Hi/Lo for the extra few minutes.

I wanted to share a recipe from the 21 Day Fix with you all. It's so yummy:D

21 Day Fix Egg salad:
2 hard boiled eggs
1/4 cup cottage cheese
1 teasp. Dijon mustard

Mix everything and enjoy. This makes one serving .
