Getting it done for March 2015

Heidi - I love Afterburn, it's an all time favorite. Wow! the stairs; that's so many. What a great way to get in extra steps and keep your legs strong.

Belinda - Nice job on your rotation doubles. I like barre work, but haven't done it in a long time. I have the "Bar Method" discs and really like them. They mimic true ballet routines.

Sherry - you ok? I'm hoping you're not down for the count.

Today is Low Impact Two + abs 1 + I'll add cardio (probably a couple from X10).

Happy Tuesday?

Sunday - was wipe out - and not from the pie. I had no energy all day and lots of aches. No wo.

Monday - better, but nowhere near 100%. However, after work was spend getting DD to doctor because Yes! She has strep, too! After all that, wiped out again and no wo.

Today - finally, dog walk plus 2.5 mile easy run and stretch. DD feeling better already and DH finally near to joining the land of the healthy after a week on meds.

Sara - Great cardio plans today. You are adding on a lot these days. Clothes feeling any different?

Belinda - I've lost track - are you done with 21 days of 21DF or just adding another week on? Glad DH is still liking it.

Heidi - Good job on AB. Hope the headache went away. Good planning on the soup. Came in handy.

Time to shower. Hope you had a good one. I do intent to be back at it tomorrow.

Sherry - each 21 Day Fix round is 3 weeks. I started round 2 on Monday.

Sara - wtg, on AB. That's a tough one. I never done a Bar Method wo…

Heidi - hope you feeling better today. What soup did you make? Thanks for the recipe you posted the other day. I will check it out.

Sherry - glad you're not joining your family in the land of strep. It is such a wipeout of a sickness. I usually try to avoid antibiotics, but that's one that requires them. Good luck jumping back into your plan.

Belinda - WTG sticking to your rotation. I'll have to check out 21 day fix, but I confess that I adore Cathe so other instructors can get on my nerves with their pacing and cuing.

Heidi - I hope your headache is better this morning. they can really lay a girl out.

Today I'll do RWH Chest, which is the hardest (for me) strength wo of the series. I'll add on a cardio premix. I'm hoping to get in a run walk this eve, but my schedule is tight so we'll have to see how the day plays out.

Two down, three to go. :) Make it a good one.
 
Hi!

Yesterday and today were a bust for any workouts. :/ Work has been super busy and I just don't have a moment in the mornings
or by the time I get home I am plum beat to do anything.

Thanks girls on the get well for my headache. It went away over night but again this afternoon it is back. I swear it is work related at this
point!

Sherry: What a time your family has been having lately with these darn colds etc. I sure hope you stay well! Hard with all that for sure.
Great job on your run!

Sara: Have a great workout with RWH! That is a good one for sure and I get DOMS everytime even after doing it for awhile. LOL!

Belinda: How was your workout with 21 DF Lower Fix and SBF Barre? I still haven't had time to check that 21 Day Fix out. I will
soon though! :)

Hi all!

Just a dog walk today - that was after work and before heading to DD's soccer game. Too worn out when we got home for more. Still not back to my normal energy level, but looks like the entire family is finally on the mend.

Belinda - Rotation 2 - you and DH must be liking it. Maybe I will need to check it out.

Sara - I don't like anything with push-ups - to me those are the hardest. But, if we keep doing them, we'll get there. Positive vibes!

Heidi - Busy here too. Plus, since starting STS, I'm needing more sleep. Hard to fit everything it,but we'll get back on track.

Sara - all I am gonna say….Autumn is very good :) I adore Cathe too….but need to switch things up a bit. I get bored easily :)

Sherry - Glad you're feeling better and back on track with your wos.

Belinda - great job on your four pounds! Way to work.

Heidi - I hope your headache finally went away. Have you tried Excedrin? It seems like the only thing that helps me when I have a bad one (but not if it's a sick headache - stay away from it then). Are you able to catch your breath at work? Your work schedule sounds grueling and I could see where it may contribute to a stress headache. Hopefully it will become more manageable.

Today I'm home on a "freebie" day off b/c our school was closed due to an outbreak of the Norovirus. I haven't gotten it yet (keeping my fingers crossed :) ), but we've had so many adults and kids get sick that the district shut our school down for a deep clean. Also since the incubation period is 1-2 days they figure if we're all gone it may stop spreading by Monday (I hope that too). Poor little kiddos just dropping like flies :(.
On the happy side, I'll get in my wos and have a day to catch up on some pesky errands and maybe hit the mall for fun.

So my wo out will be RWH Back + Imax 3 premix 1-5. Later I'll get in a run/walk with my weighted vest. down 1.5 pounds in two weeks. Not as great as I'd hoped, but downward is good.

Yesterday was a dog walk and D17, then with friends to scrapbook (which for me was sitting in front of a computer and sorting through photos - something I needed to do badly!).

Today will be a 2 mile run and D16. Not sure about a dog walk or running outside - it's cold and drizzling.

Belinda - High five on the 4#'s! Amazing how much discipline and work that takes, isn't it? Is your DH staying as disciplined with his eating, too?

Sara - Hope you enjoyed your day off, except for the reason that school was closed - not fun for the kids or adults. Looks like you had a very active day - did you get all that done? Don't just worry about the pounds - it's also the inches and bf%. If your scale doesn't measure bf%, there are lots of calculators on line that use the navy bf formula based on weight and a few measurements. I'm finding it very useful as I try to be sure I'm only losing fat weight, not lean weight.

Waving Hi to Heidi - you had another blast of snow. Hope it's not too bad this time!

Sherry - thank you :) Believe it or not :) I get to eat a lot of food with 21 DF. Maybe I wasn't eating enough before? DH eats what I eat, lol! He isn't that strict. Good job yesterday and have fun with your run today.

Sara - thank you :) hope you had fun yesterday. I hope you don't get the Norovirus.

Heidi - how are you doing?

I will be back tomorrow. DH and I will go floor shopping. Need to replace all the carpet in our house.

Yesterday, did get in the run; didn't get in D16. Will do that today. However, just finished eating DH's pancakes, so will need to wait a bit. The pancakes are totally not on the eating plan, but the does make good ones and we haven't had them in quite awhile. I also find that I am eating a lot of food, especially with all the veggies. Also needing more sleep. Body wants 7-8 hours a night, plus more sometimes on weekends. A good side effect of STS.

Belinda - Nice job on you wo yesterday. Is today a rest day? How was the floor shopping? The whole house is a lot to do at once.

I will do 21 Day Fix yoga and a walk today.

Sherry - nice job on your run and D6. We only looked around and priced a few flooring. I went to a Thrift Shop and found still in shrink-wrap 2 workout dvd's for a $1 :p The price sticker said $2.50 each, I ask if they would give it to me for $1.50:D which would still be a good price, right? She said yes:D Than I said to her I should have offer her $1:D:p each!! She agreed and I ended up paying $1:D each, lol;)

Well I am not getting it DONE. Work has been super busy and exhausting. I come home after with a bad headache on most days.

Tried to get rid of it yesterday but it hung on. Went for a TM run for 2.5 miles but still it stayed.

Today has been house clean up and laundry. Cook my soup for the week ahead also. I have a dinner to go to at a friends with my DH
this evening. So I better get in a run or something now before it!

You all are doing fantastic keep up the good work!

Sara! Scary to hear about the virus at your school. Stay well and I hope for the best for all concerned.

Whew! D16 done. My tri's are really exhausted! At least the laundry's almost done - might have to cut back on the rest of my to do list!

Belinda - No wonder you have so many exercise DVD's! ;)

Heidi - So sorry about the headaches. Hopefully you can rest a bit in between all the activities today.

Sara - Hope you didn't get knocked down by the virus.

Sherry - I only bought wo dvd's twice from the Thrift Store. Three weeks ago, I bought Ballet Body : TB wo for $1.75 and Richard Simons Boogie Down the Pounds for $1.75.

Yesterday I bought Dance off the Inches - 15 Min Express for $1 and Gold Gym (can't remember the name) for $1, both still in shrink wrap:D I couldn't pass up a $1 deal:p All my other dvd's are full price:rolleyes:

Heidi- so sorry about your headache. How long has it hung on? a week? Have you thought of seeing a doctor? It seems like it's been a long time.

RWH CHest and some IMAX 3 for cardio. Back to school today, hopefully our forced break will have stopped some of the spreading.
