I personally never saw any "magical" difference in how I felt/recovered when I used the recovery drinks/protein shakes vs now that I eat real food afterwards.
People swear by Shakeology by Beach Body but I refuse to get sucked in. Although it sounds good, again,
it's a high calorie shake that I KNOW is gonna leave me feeling hungry an hour later so why bother? Sounds super nutritious but I'd rather eat the real food then drink the shake. It'll be more satisfying for me thus saving me calories.
ETA:: Ever notice that Cathe is one of very few in the fitness industry who has not created or promoted any kind of pill, shake or recovery drink formula? Think maybe there's a reason for that?
