1-1 leg deadlift, shoulder press, step ups, over head tricep ext
2-pistols, chin ups (got the iron woody bands-they are amazing), pullovers, traveling push ups (still had to do these on my knees but I did the best I could)

Eats were 100% yesterday :D

Today
1-eggwhites, 2 slices ezekiel toast
2-greek yogurt, mixed berries ( I made this into a smoothie with almond milk)
3-chicken, potatoes
4-rice cakes, protein shake (post workout)
5-chicken, salad or broccoli, apple
6-tuna, greens, almonds

I also tested a theory yesterday that works:
I poured 1/4 cup egg whites into muffin tin, then add whatever veggies you like (I used tomatoes) and seasoning. Bake at 350 for about 20-25 min, when done and cooling, take 1 oz reduced fat cheese and sprinkle it among the egg white bites. Each one has less than 1 gram of fat, 1-2 carbs, and 6-6.5 grams of protein. They refrigerate well and easily reheat.

Today was Cardio and I chose Imax 2. Had a BLAST! I love that workout, especially the step segments. Very fun and time flew by. My favorite interval is #6. I love those straddle taps.

HR STATS:
55 minutes total
2 minutes below zone
13 minutes in zone
40 minutes above zone
431 calories burned

I eat alot of chicken too...I got packages and packages of it in the freezer....I open up the freezer and say...OH LAWD..chicken again????? Better then fish to me. :p. I love what your doing with your eggs and making it all so tasty. Great ideas.

Calorie burn for Imax 2 is interesting as I have never known about how many calories one would burn, but I know it is still different for everyone, but interesting to see. I think I need to do that one again soon. Great job!
 
Char-I don't like fish. I've tried it several times and I really can't stand it. However, I can eat tuna which I find odd but oh well.

Morning Maniacs -

This morning I did Petra's new workout, Just Dance. I was so freakin' lost and sort of did my own version. I almost pulled it out several times, but made myself stick with it to force me to use my brain a little bit. Workout was 55" and I burned 520 calories. Max HR was 150. I also did Rainbeau Mars bonus yoga 10" segment from Yoga for Beauty Dawn. (Love her).

Speaking of Rainbeau - I just ordered her new Rayoka DVD which is a mix of martial arts and yoga. Can't wait to get it. Here's a short clip about it and Rainbeau looks gorgeous. She just glows.

Well.....speaking of rest days, I guess I'm gonna be forced to take some here and there. The December schedule for work is not official yet, but I went thru the back door to take a look at it yesterday and I'm working 6 days a week and my days are LONG 10-11 hours and such! We have extended hours due to the Holiday. Last year, we had more peeps working ....so it's just me and another girl and she goes to school. I'm freaking out a bit!


Deb - can you believe Lucky shot Nicolas on GH? I wasn't ready for that!! LOL.

ETA: My DH drove to Ikea in Pittsburgh last week and bought a huge bookcase unit that takes up most of one wall in my Dining Room so I can store all of my exercise DVDs on it. I don't have it filled up yet, as I haven't had any time to do it....but I'm so happy to have this large storage area for my exercise DVDs. We are looking into getting Powerblock DB's to free up the space where I have all of my various DB's. Does anyone here have them and if so, do you like them?

Diane Sue - It is nice to see Walmart get those things in. Mine carries that Oikos greek yogurt but I don't like it. I love Fage the best. I wish they'd carry that.

Theresa - Nice job on your eating yesterday. And that thing you did with the egg whites sounds good. I hate cooking in muffin tins, though. LOL!! Not sure why, I find it tedious.

Char[b/] - Hi girl! I was hoping for a higher calorie burn with Imax 2. I burned over 500 calories doing Step Blast last week. I thought this one would be similar.

Lora[b/] - That yoga/martial arts workout looks really good. Is it more of a yoga type workout or does cardio come into play? I might have to look into that. Do you have any other of her other workouts? That sucks about your schedule. I don't know how you do it. I'd hate a job like that. I'm not much of a shopping girl. And I hate going to malls at Christmas time. I KNOW! I was shocked when I seen Lucky just whip his gun out and shoot Nicholas. WTH??? I wonder if it's a dream or something? I can't wait to see today's show. And cool on the storage space. I need one of those. My boss was just talking about the Ikea in PA. He was there last weekend and didn't care much for the store. Too much of a maze, he said.
 
Deb - I'm not sure if it will have a cardio effect at all. I will most likely do it as soon as I get it though, so I'll let you know. Yes, I have all of Rainbeau's DVDs. My fave's are the Yoga for Beauty series, Dusk & Dawn and her Pure Tranquility DVD (which is all done on the floor and has no flowing Vinyasa's in it....just like a relaxing stretch). I've been WAITING for her to finally put something else out....so I jumped on this.

Well my head hurts and I can't breath. So all I managed this morning was 4 DS HIS. Workout was 29 minutes and I burned 243 calories.

LOL! I can't even think which interval 3 is right now. I like all of them, the only blast I don't care for is the sumo things. Those suck.

I can't believe you are working out feeling like you do. Nice job! Hope you get better soon.

It's the one with the power box (I think that's her name for it) around the step where you add a knee jump at each corner and then the alternating standing one leg jumps (16 per leg)where you swing your arms around in a circle....it never ends....ever. I dislike it as much as I did the crosses in plyo X.

And ITA about interval #6. There is a similar interval in imax 3 that I like as well...

Only reason I am still working out is DH keeps waking me up!:confused:

Oh and listen to this. I went online to the Nike site to see if I could order a replacement gasket for my HRM and not only is this super thin round ring of rubber $5.50 they want $6.75 to ship it to me!!! WTH?????:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
 
No workout today again. I feel like a blimp. I have had a migraine and stiff shoulders and back everyday now:confused: Went to dd's for Thanksgiving dinner early yesterday and she had me take 4 Advil. I thought it knocked it but this morning I was awake at 4 am after going to bed at 12 with a headache. Didn't want to disturb my Dad and wife getting up to hunt down something. I really should have taken some Imitrex.
I am hoping that if I get enough rest tonight I can get up and do STS Meso 3 week 3 back and chest in the morning. Then do Plyo legs Thursday or Friday and shoulders biceps and triceps on Saturday. I think I need cardio for all of the bad eating. Today eating has been better. I had some Kashi cereal (no sugar added) and grapefruit for breakfast, lunch was out but had steamed chinese veggies and steamed rice, not sure about dinner yet. My Dad left at lunch time and I had planned to make a meat loaf and pull out some left over veggies and salad.
DH leaves Thursday and I will be doing lots of running. He mentioned a cab but I want to take him to the airport. Fortunately the timing is mid day between school stuff.

Debbie, I like Fage too. They carry that at the Buy For Less Grocery Store that was close to where I used to live. I still make trips there and pick up favorites. They also carry Kefir and Almond and Hazelnut Meal. Cashew Butter and Almond Butter is way less money there than at the Akins Nutrition Market or Target. Although this is only one store in the chain. There is one closer but freshness of products and items carried are different.

Linda, I am sure that motivation will get back and you will feel better. You know, I think sometimes our bodies just make us slow down because we won't do it on our own;) I hope you get to feeling better. I have been taking Zicam at regular intervals today. I have to keep it up for a few days and follow directions then it works great. Not coughing as much today as I did yesterday so it is working. As far as Intervals, I think I have several I hate but cannot make myself not do them. I figure if I really hate them I should keep doing them because there may be something I am missing there.

Theresa, I had to think about it and just realized which move the power box was. I don't really mind that one anymore. Really, I guess I Max 2 doesn't have too much that I hate (anymore):D Now I Max 3 has a couple I could do without LOL

Lora, it sounds like you can have a lot of holiday hours. Should give you some extra funds. Maybe if you can stick it out you will be someone they want to move up. I have had so much going on here and not sure if you said but how was the concert?? I have a sort of like for Rainbeau Mars but I find her a little odd at times. I do get a good workout out of her Dawn workout.
 
Diane Sue - Rainbeau odd?? LOL......I love weird people though. They make the world interesting. Are you talking about when she kisses her toe and talks about cradling your leg like a baby? I was really impressed with her watching her Youtube clips. She's the yoga embassador (or something like that) for Addidas and travels all over the world teaching yoga. I think that's pretty cool. I think she's looking great these days from the recent clip. She exudes beauty and has a wonderful glow. I'm a bit stressed about my work hours ....mostly cuz I'm gonna half to miss workouts on days I work very late and start very early....and just the fact I'm gonna be on my feet so many hours a week.

Off to watch GH and get ready for bed.
