Today I did 4DS Shoulders and repeated each round twice. What a burner. This was a puke status workout.

SHOULDERS
Round 1
Seated Overhead Press Pyramid sets: 10's/12's/15's/20's with 16/12/10/8 reps
***Repeated this round. Killer!

Round 2
Alternate Overhead Press: 15's - 3 sets/4 reps
superset w/
Dumbbell Upright Rows: 20's - 12 reps
***Repeated.

Round 3
Lateral Raises: 12's for the first set of 8 reps (long lever); 10's for 2nd set of long lever; 10's for bent arm.
***Did not repeat this round.

Round 4
Double Trouble: 10's - 8 reps; 8's - 8 reps second set
superset w/
Rear Delt Flyes: 12's - 12 reps
***Repeated. These were tough because Cathe does these twice so repeating this made it four times. Love the double trouble exercise.

Round 5
External Rotation Pulls w/Band: Green band
***Repeated. Excellent burn here.

ABS
Body Max 2 Ab Work

Weight is down this morning. Relieved. Gonna have fun working shoulders with Deb today. Will do the same ab work, but probably add on some.

I can feel my strength returning:) still coughing up mucus (sp) I know that’s sick to say, but I am:confused: This morning, I really did not know what workout I wanted to do, I had KPC on my rotation but I didn’t feel like it. BTW,I stopped at Target’s last night and no weighted gloves, if I don’t find any today at Dick's I'm going to order from Cathe:rolleyes:

Any who, I decided to hop on my treadmill for a 45 minute jog and then I did PLB floorwork. I was previewing PLB I forgot how good that workout is.

Debbie: No such thing as a puke workout,:rolleyes: I’m sure you got a good burn in them shoulders. Nice Job! BTW, feeling good back soreness.

Tomorrow, I will not be repeating shoulders, my shoulders build very fast and then my blouses get tight, some I still can not wear. So, I may do 4DS SB&T. who knows:cool:

Toasty: What is your secret for losing lbs, I have MUCH too lose, really, a good 10. I got side track and bam back on my butt and mainly my thighs.

Char - Traps and neck area was good doing all this twice through. You might want to be careful with the bent over raises, though. I could feel a pinch up there when doing those.

Teddygirl - I have a lot of puke status workouts. LOL! I literally feel like puking sometimes when I'm working out. Not sure that's a good sign or a bad sign. I'm curious to know how those weighted gloves are from Cathe. If you end up ordering them, let me know.
 
Debbie: Okay, will let ya know. Cathe has the 1 and 2 lbs weighted gloves; not sure which to buy:confused: I’m headed too Dick’s Sporting Goods after work, maybe I can try on both. I hope they have them, and, cheap too:cool::rolleyes:

I have been loving the rotations Debbie keeps putting out. Last one we did added more muscle to my ecto frame. Loved that! This rotation is gonna burn more fat, I think, but still working the muscles good..hence..the 2 pound weight loss already plus been trying to be strict with my meals again. Tuna fish is definitely the key for me..I added Ceasar dressing to it yesterday, and it really taste good. I get the white albacore tuna. Before was getting the other kind and eating straight out of can..bleecchh.
 
Toasty: Thank you! I’ve got a plan for leaning out my legs:) for the next 6 to 8 weeks I’m going to add in much cardio and one heavy leg day. That’s why I was walking so much in the summer, my legs get so toned. When I pick up weight it goes right to me:( thighs. BTW, I love Albacore tuna its the best.

Debbie: My bag, she only has 2lb weighted gloves the other one is for strength training.
 
Toasty: It is a vicious cycle, seem like each year, I’m here:( Oh well, check this out, my co-worker/girlfriend brought me 2 slices of pound cake yesterday and today EEK:eek: We have homemade cookies in our kitchen. Wait, not finished lol :Dthis Saturday is our Xmas party @ Blue Canyon Restaurant and on the 19th is our In-house Xmas party. Had another night of looking at the clock and it would only be an hour later than it was before

I did try the inhaler but not even sure if I used it right. The puffs seemed kind of tiny for holding it away from the mouth. Never used one for myself.
For cardio I did 4Day Split premix Power cardio no stretch ane burned 448 calories, then I used Amy Bento's 10 minute solution Bootcamp drills segment two timesand burned 176 calories, total cardio calories was 624.
Then I did Gym Style back:
reverse grip row 8 repsx25lbdumbbells 2 sets, 12 reps x25lb 1 set
1 arm row 12 reps x2 sets each side 35lb dumbbell
T band rows blue heavy band
Pullovers 8 reps x 1 set 46# barbell, 8 reps x 1 set 35# dumbbell ( I dropped weight because it was hurting my shoulder)
legs and glutes focusing more on hamstrings
Bowflex standing cable kickbacks 12 reps x 3 sets 60# resistance each leg
Stiff Leg Deadlift 3 setsx8 reps 75# barbell
Bowflex leg press 3 sets x 12 reps 310# resistance
Bowflex calf raise 3 sets x 25 reps 310# resistance
Butts and Guts Ball and floor work wearing 5lb ankle weights throughout and adding a 25# dumbbell on hip while doing the glute tucks

Today was chest & back and 45 minutes on the bike - steady state. My biceps are reeeeally sore from yesterday's workout. Must have been those chins. Yay!

The 95# was a big mistake! Long story but I had a REALLY hard time with this, obviously, and my range of motion was not great. I thought I had really lost a lot of strength and maybe the offset pushups I did just wiped me out for some reason. I thought I had 60# on the bar - I wasn't counting the weight of the bar which is 35#. DUH!

Teddygirl - I'm with Debbie - I've had many, many puke status workouts as well. There have been many times I've almost had to stop and go throw up and come back. It's been really close!

Toasty - Congrats on the weightloss! I'm finally down a pound from my Thanksgiving weekend pigfest! But I still haven't been eating as clean as I should. It's been a bad week! :) DH is happy though. As I mentioned before I wouldn't mind if it was good calories, but it was junk. Ugh! Yours is all muscle.
 
Diane Sue - I'm sorry to hear you are still not sleeping well. That would drive me crazy. Hope it gets better soon. I was never any good at using inhalers either. Nice workout, though! You still kicked some major butt.

Teddygirl - I can so relate. I'm looking forward to Jan. 1st as well. Luckily everyone here is too cheap to by desserts but there is one party after another with the coming weeks.

Suz - Nice on the bicep soreness. I'm sure the chins had something to do with it! Nice going on your bench pressing! Woo hoo!!! :eek:

Char...I'm down in lbs this morning as well...and I wasn't even trying! My eating has been squeeky clean. :D

Teddy....do you do HIIT? That burns soooooo many calories!

I hear ya about upcoming holiday parties but I have great will power. We are having a small party at our house this Friday but I keep all the food clean...reduced fat cheese/fruit platter with w/grain crackers, shrimp cocktail, veggie tray and homemade pizzas from Cooking Light! There will be dessert but I will skip it. I will have a glass of wine, or 2 (let's be realistic) but already planned that as my cheat "item" for this week! But wine has antioxidants so there's some benefit from it right???? :p

Maybe you need to listen to a hypnosis cd while trying to sleep..knocks me out everytime. I would only listen to at night now as I tried during the day and it made me feel very weird like I was on drugs. I have many kinds..most just relaxing, but the one I listen to at night is the one that knocks me out.
 
Diane Sue - We posted at exactly the same time! :) When I was using inhalers, they gave me this extension tube to make them easier to use b/c I could never get it quite right. It really helped. I always felt like I was shooting it into the roof of my mouth otherwise. If I was out on my bike, of course, I didn't use that thing. :p Awesome workout there!!!

Debbie - Thanks. Good thing it was on the Smith machine or I probably would have killed myself! Suprising what you can do when you have to, huh?

Sonya - Okay, you've given me more motivation to clean up my eating. I had done so good for like ever and ever and ever and ever. I'm good during the day at work and dinners even. It's a little bit of junk food at night - Hot Tamales that DH likes and then I start eating them like crazy! And his grandma made PB cookies for his b-day and we ate all of those - a lot of them. And all that stuff over Thanksgiving. Do you have the pizza recipe you can share? Or is it online?

Charlotte - I always feel like it goes right to a little pouch in my stomach. DH doesn't agree but that's where I seem to see it. :mad:

I can actually feel fat multiplying on my back..I am not kidding. :eek: Goes there first for me...lower back always and then comes around and gets me in the abs..if I were to let it get that out of control...so far..only lower back because I am a control freak. The way I see it though is if you don't feel anything jiggling then your doing good. I remember when I first started to workout and run and everything jiggled..scary. After having kids though, always gonna have alittle extra pouchy skin when you sit or bend unless you have skin removed.

Great idea on the food journal. Sometimes I lose track of calories so I go to Fitday.com on ocassion, but I think a food journal is the better way. Smart woman!
 
Hey Maniacs! This morning I did Dove's Bodies Vol. #2. Had a great workout. My hamstrings are super sore from doing Squeeze lower yesterday...Love it! Hams and butt are my fave DOMS spots.:cool:

My eating is waaaay off. I'm extremely busy at work right now because of the holidays, so I don't eat because I have no time and then I get starving cave into the junk food. We all know that cycle doesn't work! So I'm looking forward to Jan. too.

Dang...back to work ( great, all I had time to eat was some edemame) So of course I'll want some fattening crap after work, lol!

then interval cardio at a 60/60 ratio using Powerups from Amy's ASC 1.
