Well I hope Rob is safe. You and your husband are so dear to that creature. He will probably never forget you. It is always the the most simple things in life that give us the most pleasure. And then doing something good for alittle creature that cannot do much for itself is a beautiful thing.
 
Today was my last boring steady state workout with this rotation. Glad it's over. I'm hoping with the next 4 weeks I can do Cardio Coach and just keep my HR in the zone I'm suppose to be in.

Cardio Stats:
50 minutes
39 minutes in zone
262 calories burned
2.6 miles travelled


Hope you all have a great weekend! Going to take my motorcycle test. Hope I pass. I won't be able to update you all until tomorrow morning. Got tons of stuff to do today. Wish me luck in your minds!

Sorry girl, but I could not stick with that slow cardio like that for long. Your patience is far more enduring then mine, but I still lately have not felt like I can kick up the speed like I have before...could just be tired or whatever.

Well gotta tell ya'll something. I went out to dinner with my daughter last night and she was telling me things I did not know about my husband. She says he has been eating at McDonald's quite often and eating Big Macs and large fries, etc.. He just had CANCER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know he has been down though and he is an emotional eater, but STILL..McDonalds?????? OMG! I am gonna have to have a talk with him about all this. lol.

No workout to report, I plan to do upper body later. My sister stopped over last night and I drank to much wine, felt lazy this morning and didn't feel like doing anything but lay in my warm bed watching news. I'll check back later.

I finished up my workout. Didn't have to take the girls to school today. I will be picking the children up this afternoon though. I started my workout with Tracey's Circuit Zone (no foam roller stretch) and burned 392 calories and 55% fat, then I did Ripped 1000 repeating the last cardio football runs and abs and burned 525 calories, then I added on Tracey's Glute Camp floor legs, abs, and stretch (I used a 15# db over my hips for the glute tucks) Total calories burned was 1010 and 55% fat for the day:D

Charlotte, I thought you were going to tell us something really bad about your dh:) Glad it is just MacDonalds. You may have to put him on a diet. Hopefully it is just a temporary craving. I eat there but it is usually just salads.

Debbie, I don't know how you do it. Once I am on the treadmill and warmed up I think I ay keep it lower but before I know it I am increasing the pace. Can't just walk on the treadmill because it makes me crazy.

Teddy, hope you get your upper body in later today.
 
Quick check in - did a 20 mile bike ride this morning. My average was pretty good considering I haven't been riding due to my knee. It hurt some so I took it easy and was still surprised at my speed. :)

Morning Maniacs! This morning I did Dove's Bodies Volume #3. I've been loving these workouts. They are a lot of fun for me and really work it all in a good way.

Dh and I have a 4 day weekend so we are heading out to stay with my mom and dad in their tiny little town and do some bike riding. I like it there because the hills aren't so d*mn steep and long as they are here.:D

Don't know if I'll check in much for a few days, but I might be able too.

Suz and Dallys, I am jealous. Sounds like you are both going to have fun weekends:) I am having grandchildren come over tomorrow and spend the night. They are going to help rake up the yard and I will overseed my lawn. Then games and probably pizza unless I can come up with something better that they will all like. I need to check out those DOve workouts:)

8/8/8 - 20's *** This stinks because at 20 right arm barely feels worked, left arm is struggling. Did extra sets for left***

Char - Good Luck w/ DH. Hope he listens. Didn't know men suffered from emotional eating thought it was a girl thing. When I talk about it DH looks at me like I have two heads!:p

Toasty: leave your hubby alone:eek: after what he just went through, he's allowed a few McDonald meals, LOL. Me too am a nervous eater, strange tho, most folks are not. Well, just handled the last report for today me tipping out early, don't tell!:eek:

I know you eat there and only the salads. One can only look at you and know your not eating anything else BUT salads from that place. BTW, excellent calorie burn today. I swear you are a machine. You are so amazing!
 
Toasty, I may eat other things once in awhile at Macdonalds but it is not the bread. I absolutely hate white spongy bread. Yuk!! French fries are for tasting LOL. So I guess icecream desserts and salad LOL I don't like shakes either. Has to be something with texture which drags in the icecream with candy in it:0 It is hard to find fast food that has something I want. Popeyes is the hardest that I can think of. One opened near us and I took the grandchildren. I ended up with rice and I guarantee that had a lot of fat and sodium. It was greasy and had mystry chunks in it. Yew!! My son said they had jambalyia which is what I was hoping for but did not see on the menu. I am sure your dh will come to his senses. Maybe with you urging:) He was good before, right??
 
Mystery chunks, icky! I'm not much for fast food either. Last time I was at Burger King, nearly two years ago when I went with my sister and her kids, I got a tofu burger. I don't know if they still carry those.
