Crazy, strong & loving it for February!!

    Morning girls,


    My plan is using the elliptical at the gym today.


    What are your plans today?

    Update on my mom:

    No date for the operation yet. The doctor wants another MRI and he wants her to se a Neuro-Optimologist (sp?) before he decides. He said the MRI that St. John's did was crappy and he can't really see the details he needs to see. Her next MRI is scheduled for Feb. 21st. I'm waiting to hear from the Optimologist about the date of her appointment. Honestly, I'm glad he is doing this. Maybe they can come up with something else, although it sounded like he was almost 100% sure the tumor is causing all her problems and that she would need surgery.

    He gave her some coordination tests and she didn't do too well with them. It's weird. The woman can tell you anything about history, but ask her to touch her right finger to her left ear and she can't do it. I sort of chalked that up to it just being mom and her not understanding what people are asking her to do, but maybe she really does have a neurological problem? Maybe the tumor is causing more problems than I realized.

    Anyways, we'll find out more at the end of February. And I can tell you this already, the waiting is the worst part! For me and my mom.

    Today was cardio and althought I woke up with a sore throat and a stuffey nose, I had an excellent workout. I even wanted to workout this morning so I guess whatever is trying to get me isn't being too successful.

    I did Candace's Run Fit workout again. I can't say enough how much I love this workout. It is a great workout.

    Good Morning,

    I haven't been very good about workouts this week so I will try to make this a better month tonite is Xtrain CB&S. Its just so cold that changing clothes to workout is not fun but its suppose to warm up again starting today.

    Debbie-hope the other MRI turns out better. I sometimes think its their age I don't think my mom would understand what they wanted her to do and she doesn't have a tumor I think my brother over medicated her when she lived with him, she has a bipolar problem. Good Job with your workout.

    Belinda-have fun on the elliptical I miss going to the gym and using one of those.

    I just finished today's workout and it was a killer, but I like it that.:eek:

    Here's today's workout:

    Les Mills Pump- Pump 'n Shred= 48 Min
    MV= 6.50
    CB= 426

    Les Mills Combat -HiiT Power 1= 30 Min
    MV= 9.0
    CB= 369

    Total calories burned= 795

    Debbie- thanks for the update on your mom, I was praying for her and keeping her in my thoughts. I have been to a Neuro-optimalogist (sp?) It was because of the loss of vision and blurriness in my right eye due to MS attack causing nerve damage to the optic nerve in my right eye. Its a great call for your doctor to refer her to that kind of specialist. I agree a second MRI that is a nice clean and clear one would be best before making any surgical decisions. It sounds like she has a great doctor overseeing her care, he's a keeper. So now you just need that specialists doctor's appointment and the MRI and go from there. Hang in there and I'll keep praying for her. I hope that you feel better and free of the sore throat and stuff. Congrats on having a good workout despite all that WTG ^^^5's.

    Roxie- I understand what your saying about things just not cooperating in the morning to get into that workout mode vibe. No worries, you can get it in tonight, bravo on the workout you have scheduled for later though with Xtrain CB&S. Have a great day and fab workout later!;):)

    Belinda- Have a great workout on the elliptical machine I've never used one but have heard rave reviews about them and how they are great for those that want the cardio benefits but need to go easy for knees, back, or other reasons. Its a great option and beneficial way to go and keep up fitness.

    Happy February!!!

    Today I did Premix #11 from Tabatacise. It was the Tabata #1, Burn Sets Back + Core #2. Good one! First time for Tabatacise, I really liked it! Tough stuff!

    Belinda: Did you see the link I posted for the free online FULL Body Combat workouts? Did you test it out?

    Nora: Nice job on Combat this month!!! Awesome on the results. I can definitely see how that coudl tone your upper and lower body. thanks for the review on LoweR Body workout. Much appreciated!

    Debbie: That's too bad you have to keep waiting about your mom. It's hard to just wait. (((hugs))) . Is her pain at least better? NIce job on CC even with a sore throat! I agree , P90X Yoga is the best, although too long.

    Roxie: That's awesome the workouts are keeping you sane!!! That's what they s hould do !!!!

    My oldest son with Type 1 Diabetes has what I think is the flu. Very ill. Of course, the illness messes his blood sugars up bad. Poor kid. He feels so sick. I've been playing nurse/mom the last few days...

    Today is my DS's birthday. He is 24 today. Time flies.

    Last night I did a full body workout.

    Today is a rest day. I will catch up w/persoanls tomorrow.

    Good Morning,

    I am going to a birthday party for my 4 year old twin nephews. I will do HS no conditioning and Core 1. I forgot to tell you guys that I took my paycheck to the bank Friday night and they wouldn't honor it because the boss didn't have enough money in his acct. I guess thats one good thing about banking at the same bank or a disadvantage. I am trying to decide if I still want to work for them because this is the second time.

    No workout today, I've been kicking a cold all weekend and most of yesterday all I did was sleep and read. I'm feeling better today but didn't want to chance it. Hopefully tomorrow I'll be back at it. It felt good to just sleep in a bit.

    Thanks for the prayers and comments about my mom everyone! Chris - yes, her pain is under control now. Her headaches are gone, thank God!

    I will do Burn Sets CB&S when I get home and then later I might try CK25 again.

    Debbie-I have been fighting something for a while but it never fully develops into a cold or anything just have and annoying cough and stuffy nose but not continuous, I fell asleep watching the super bowl which isn't like me.

    Morning ladies,

    Sorry for not checking in yesterday. I feel under the weather. My nose is stuffed, can't hardley breath. Sunday Aleisa went through 1/3 of my closet, lol. It only took her 30 min to fill up an entire lawn bag.


    Cookie - don't feel bad posting in the wrong thread. It happends. Yeah, DS made me watch the SuperBowl., lol. I am so not into football. I am wearing inserts, can't walk without them. Glad it's helping.

    Kirstin - I still can't do any high impact workouts, my heel spur is still bordering me. Enjoy Tabatacsie this week and CLB tonight. Our fence was demaged a few month ago in the Hurricane winds, we had it fixed right away. I have 4 dogs. It is a lot of many going to the RT. Aleisia wanted to go, lol. I told her we would go maybe next year?

    Yesterday I did Turbo Jam and shoulders.

    Debbie - I will keep your mom in my thoughts and prayers!! ((HUGS))) My son started P90X and he likes it. I have to wait until my heel spur is completley healed.

    Chris, Roxie and Nora - fantatic job on your workouts.

    I seriously should not have worked out today. My head is still all stuffed up and I have a killer headache. But I really wanted to do something. I chose Cardio Coach #1 and just did it. My HR didn't even get up to the high 140's. Oh well.

    I'm tired now and want to go back to bed, but off to work I go....

    No workout this morning, way too congested again. I have medicine head and I'm very tired. I wish I could just stay home and sleep.

    This morning I will do Xtrain Bis & Tris and go for a walk since its suppose to be in the 60's. I think we will probably take another load to storage and I need to clean house.

    Belinda-no sale yet but its only been a week and a half.
