I am a WW lifetime member. I lost all of my weight 85 pounds using points. After a while, I didn't have to count points because I knew how to balance my foods. I lost my weight before the Core program debuted and lost an additional 8 pounds. So both programs are great.
In study after study...
Here's something that helps:
After you put on your deo, rub your arms against your sides to 'smoosh' the deodorant into your skin. I don't get marks on my shirt anymore. I use Dove. Love that stuff.

I love Christi's workouts. I agree that Totally Hot Cardio is so fun. If you are looking for step, Totally Cool Step and Solid Gold Step are great.
For a more advanced step workout with killer choreography, Patrick Goudeau's BEST Step. Wow, I still can't get the whole thing and I am pretty...

Wayne -Do you have any friends in an area where they can order it for you?
Before I broke my hand, I was able to do 2 chin-ups and 1 pull-up unassisted. I had just finished Phase 1. I wonder where I would be now if I hadn't got hurt. :(

Has your weight loss plateaued? If not, keep doing what you are doing until your losses stop. No need to fix something that isn't broken yet.

RE: Pencil Test
I believe it's when you can stick a pencil where your glutes and hamstrings meet. If it stays that means that there is fat holding the pencil in place. If not, you're doing well. LOL

RE: Anyone a big fan of Christi Taylor's workouts as I ...
I think Christi is an awesome instructior with great choreography that gets me excited when I am doing it. I love complex choreography and I think she breaks it down so well.
Give it a shot.

I am in my 4th week (recovery) and am still loving my workouts. In a month's time, I have gone from 0 to 1.4 pull-ups and 2 chin-ups. I have increased my standard push-ups (on toes) from 22 to 30. I feel that I am throwing harder during my softball games.
The X has been a great investment...
I am doing the Classic/Doubles Rotation (I do some cardio on weight days or when I have extra energy). I would say that weight loss comes mostly from your diet. So, I would suggest doing what feels right to you workout wise and keep tabs on your food intake. I am following Phase 1 eating right...
If you want portability, go with the Door Gym. It is SO easy to assemble and SO easy to mount/remove. It has nice padded handles and doesn't take up much room at all.

Ann,
Thanks for the advice on the unassisted downs on the pull-ups. I was so pumped on my first day (yesterday) I almost completed one pull-up!!!!
Isn't it funny how excited doing a pull-up can make you feel?!

Fitstick,
I think that separating the abs from the "meat" of the workout is a great idea. My trainer told me to do abs when you are fresh rather than throwing them in when you are already fatigued. I'll probably use it both ways to see if there is a difference.
