zig-zaggin question

Hi, ladies,

I remember a while back, someone had posted that they zig-zag their diet in order to help them speed up their metabolism. Does anyone remember what the formula was to figure out how many calories you should eat for your zig-zag? I'm trying to figure out how many calories to shoot for on my low days versus my high days.

If you already know your maintenance level of calories you can just reduce by 15% to 20% for your low days (but not below 1200)
 
I'd love a link for this question too. I know I've seen one, somewhere.

I don't see any info. with either of the links provided. This first link just shows a calculator for how many calories you need a day, not a zig zag calculator and the second link goes to a google page not directly to a calculator page.
 
The website that has the zigzag method that I have been using for my weight loss since January is listed below:

Fill out your age, gender, weight, height, & exercise level. Click on “calculate”. Your caloric needs will appear. Right below “extreme fat loss” is the "7 day calorie cycle (zigzag)". Click on it and it will show how to zigzag your calories each day for the whole week.

By the way, does anyone have any good systems for figuring out how best to taper your calories?
