Got a call this morning, saying " Ma'am, this is Animal Control, we are going to pick up two of your dogs"

WHAT????? Why would you pick up my dogs?? I thought maybe someone at the dog park had complained because Shiloh was being a barking pain in the fanny. Well, that wasn't it. He said, "Well, ma'am you haven't picked them up at the vet. HUUUUHHH??? How would my dogs be at the vet, they are all right here.
Come to find out that one of my neighbors has two escape artist dogs that we find roaming the street a few times every week and keep bringing them back to their owner. They escaped again, were turned into the local vet by someone else, vet posted flyers, my son had found the flyer, called the vet and said I know who the owner of the dogs is. It seems the vet asked my son for our contact info and thought we were the owner. We had taken one of the flyers and stuck it on the dog owner's door on Monday, he hadn't picked up his dogs.
It took me almost 15 minutes to convince Animal Control that these are not our dogs, I offered to show the Animal Control officer where the owner lives and I finally was off the hook. Boy, that scared the crap out of me.
