your top 5 cathe dvd workouts

Cathlete
i only have one video right now (b & g)- which i really love.

for those more experienced with cathe's dvds- which are your top 5 faves?

Currently (my preferences change all the time, and I'm a bit fickle), my 5 faves (in no particular order) are:

1)Butts and Guts (it hits right what's it's supposed to hit)

2) Imax 2 (fun and intense without being over-the-top, and Cathe looks so cute in her pigtails and in red!)

3)PLB (the perfect selection of lower body moves, even without the ball/floor work)

4)Boot Camp (done as the "all but core" premix, followed by the "core only" premix, because I hate going back and forth between standing and floor work)

5)Kick Max
This last one is really a surprise to ME! When I first got KM, I thought the KB segment was too short and had to many pivot moves, HATED the over-the-top impact in the blasts, and was so disgusted with it after one try---even though I wanted to like it because Cathe's form is her best ever, she looks great, and I liked the music, though it's not quite loud enough--I didn't even try the leg drills and Ebayed it pronto.

Then, recently, I was hankering for a new KB workout, had modified Amy Bento's (to make it flow more smoothly with correct KB form), and Tracey Staehle's (to make it more space friendly, and also doing it in its entirety to make up for the fact that I thought the KB section was too short.

Since I was able to tweak and modify these two workouts (which I didn't like 'as-is') and end up liking them, I decided to give Cathe a second chance.

After taking out some of the pivots and taking the 'too-jumpy' moves to my rebounder, I really like this workout now (though I still wish the rockin' music were louder).

I'll list the 5 that I keep coming back to again and again (in no particular order):

1. IM3
2. MIS
3. BC
4. HSTA
5. MM

Now I will say that I do love the GS series and would include this if I could because it is my favorite way to work splits.

Debbie

I'm not gaining weight. I'm retaining food.

1. Body Max 2
2. Drill Max
3. Imax+ (Imax, Rhythmic Step, MIC)
4. Power Hour+ (Power Hour, Body Max, MIS)
5. Imax 3

Rythmic Step is my new favorite. I had to take a step backwards in my "step" workouts because I felt like I was in over my head on some of the more highly choreographed ones. I'm loving Rythmic Step.

Love Low Impact Circuit
Love both UB and LB Pyramids
Love Kickmax

1. Kick,Punch and Crunch
2. Body Max 2
3. Imax 3
4. Muscle Max
5. Butts and Guts

Not in any particular order. I actually love almost all of her workouts and could have picked many more.

1. Cardio Kicks
2. Kick, Punch & Crunch
3. Rythmic Step
4. Low Max
5. Low Impact Circuit

I like all Cathe's DVD's!

I like in no particular order:
1.) low max
2.) kick, punch, and crunch
3.) bootcamp
4.) high step training
5.) butts and guts
6.) and could not limit it to five... muscle max

Step Jump and Pump - for the fun factor, love the step and hi/lo especially!
Imax 2 (my favorite - it was my first Cathe workout!)
Kick Punch Crunch (because I love kickboxing workouts and I really like the stability ball abs at the end)
Muscle Endurance because it gets the job done in an hour!
Body Max 2 - love the step portion, love the circuits, love the effectiveness of the upper body even though it's short

My other top contenders are Cardio Kicks (because it is such an intense but doable cardio workout), Gym Style Legs (a new one for me but I love the band work), and Drill Max because it's so different and challenging!

Tracy
