Cathe, my daughter and I have been doing a few of your workouts this summer and are enjoying the effort. She is a college soccer player and has 3 weeks till camp. She is trying to catch your shows on FitTV, but I think a DVD program would be best for scheduling. Her goals are strength, getting leaner, explosiveness...she's 145, 5'6", 11% body fat (with "babyfat" around back and sides)...and she is probably capable of doing advanced levels (I'm not,yet). She gets plenty of cardio from running.

Is there one program or DVD that you recommend?

Any of the Imax's (though I prefer 2 and 3) would be great for plyometrics (explosiveness) and her speed on the field. Muscle Endurance will really help her endurance and tone her at the same time. That DVD also has Boot Camp which is a killer circuit workout that has some plyometrics as well and excercises that will tone her entire body and push her cardiovascular endurance as well. Oh, and did I mention that all these workouts are also fun? :7 It would be hard for me to choose just one since both the Imax and ME/BC would greatly benefit her and are complimentary to her goals and her soccer. Since she wants to lean out, I would lean towards ME/BC DVD though she will love either! Let us know what you decide!
