You must see this! OT

I saw this on T.V last week. They are having a competition here to find new talent for the Royal Variety Performance that takes place once a year. Various artists, singers, dancers, comedians, magicians, etc. will perform in front of the Queen at the Royal Opera House (I think). In previous years the performers were all established big names on stage and screen. This year they are running a competition to find 'ordinary folk' with talent to perform live for the first time.

I hope this guy goes on to make millions, he is very very talented and it's what he loves most. Best of luck to him.

Did you find a clip with the 6 year old girl performing. I only saw a picture of her in the papers, she was so cute. There was also a dance troup of 13-23 year old who also brought the house down when they came on.

There are a lot of talented people out there and I hope they will go on to bigger success after the show. There are also many duds, like the housewife who did pole dancing in her underwear..... In front of the Queen? Never in a million years!! Or the skinny fire eater who put fire down his pants. Weird.

Yen, I've found others as well. But this guy just gave me some very serious chills for a very long time. I also hope that he'll be world famous and will make millions. I had to listen this clip at least ten times, his voice is just so beautiful.
I did like those girls, they indeed turned that house upside down.

Wow! Nessun Dorma! It's nice to see some real talent on those kind of shows for a change....

Bravo!!!

>Once again we learn that appearance means diddely squat.

Ain't that the truth! Wow!!!

WOW! Almost made me cry!

I cannot wait to play this for my DH when he gets home from work. He loves that type of music anyways.

I have been blessed with the opportunity to hear, in person, some of the world's best Operatic Tenors. This man ranks right up there with them. He obviously sings with his soul.

Makes me wonder what other incredible talent is out there too shy to come forward. I'm so glad he did. The world is waiting for him. What a voice!

Thank so much for that clip of the Connie. She was beautiful and magnificent. I loved it.

Now I am torn, as to who should win it. I think they both deserve to win and become superstars.

I'm going on holiday so I will miss show for the next two weeks. This is one of the best on T.V. right now.

OMG, he made me cry too, on both performances. His voice is amazing! I love that the panel is in awe of him and the audience gives him a standing ovation every time he sings. GO PAUL!

Thank you so much for posting this. I would've never known about him otherwise. This has set the tone for my day. He was incredible and also made me cry. I want a CD!
