I was exactly the same way when that happened. I just owned it up to my ego--my issue, I know. I love the following saying:

"It is what it is
It ain't what it ain't
So don't make it what it idn't (sic)"

My friend told me that--that's why I realized when my status changed on this forum, it was my ego. :p Loved it when that happened!

Where can you check how many more posts you have to do?
 
I've never noticed that - now I have to watch for it, as I'm not even sure if I've reached that status or not. Hmmm..

Oh - I'm still just a Cathlete.
 
I was always wondering how some people were "catheite" and some were "members". I always thought it was a group you had to join to belong to-LOL. I was wondering why I was never invited. Soon though, only about 16 (?) more posts to go!!! Something to shoot for.

Oh gosh, I just noticed I'm a Cathlete - when did that happen? How exciting. I know there was a post somewhere about the number of posts for each "level", but I'm wondering how long till my next name?
 
HA! once you hit 100 there's no turning back! I think the next milestone is 1000 to become a Catheite and then the next level is 10,000 to become a decathlete :) funny, the first 100 go so friggin slow, but the last 800+ have been so much fun!

eta: apparently I was incorrect about the middle level... guess we just have to wait for 10,000! oh well!

I'm a Cathlete with 602 (now 603) posts. Gosh, waiting for 10,000 seems like a long way away - but I'm sure once STS comes out there will be tons more posts.
 
Then I'm a workout nerd, too...I've got, like 1 post left before it changes, and you better believe I'll do it today! LOL
 
You know, I didn't even notice when mine hit. I think I should be a Catheite when I do 100 Cathe workouts. I may have already done that, but I'm not sure...
 
I think that you are right-the first one hundred are the slowest. As you can see I have not hit the one hundred mark yet. I must admit that I read more post than I ever respond to.
